eJuice Review 111: Monkey Palm by Bottled Clouds

img_20161207_093507Bottled Clouds have been around for a few years, but until late, access to their juice range has really only been through facebook and private messaging.
This has all changed now as they have created an online store, and made it easy to get access to them.

Their original recipes haven’t gotten a lot of attention outside of their local market, so I’ll be reviewing a few of their juices and letting you all know how I go!

Today I’ll be reviewing “Monkey Palm”.

You can pick up The Bottled Clouds range from their website @ http://www.bottledclouds.com.au

From the website:

This juice is not available from the website yet and does not have a description.

The Review:

I initially thought that this might be a banana cream by the name, but I fear I was wrong.

I pickup some creams and am definately getting a touch of sweet candy coconut, but not really any banana. It’s strange because at times I find myself thinking that there is some banana cream here, but when I try to find it, it’s just not there! I feel as though I’m getting hints of it coming through, and then just resigning myself to the fact that it’s probably my imagination.

Confused yet? Yep I know I am.

The creams are delicious as usual, I’m getting that touch of coconut in this juice just like I have a few of the others, I can only assume that they share this coconut in their base too.

The coconut is more of a sweet candy coconut than a real one, with a hint of a medicinal note in there. It doesn’t show up all of the time, but it is there. I think a little bit of a steep with the cap off will solve this quite quickly.

Inhale is creams and coconut from the get-go. Not sweet right away, more of a passing flavour, as though they are building up to a crescendo.

Exhale is where I get the full coconut cream flavour. This is also where I feel that I am getting a little banana cream every so often.
The coconut begins to drop off somewhat toward the end, and I’m left with a lovely smooth and thick sugary cream.

This flavour is definately a nice surprise, and a possible all day vape if you’re into coconut. It is not overbearing at all with the coconut blending really well with the smooth creams.

Colour:

Light honey colour

Scent:

Coconut / Cream

Coil damage:

A little coil damage and darkening of wicks

PG/VG Ratio:

There is no information on PG/VG ratio on the bottles, however I received 30ml singlers, and going by the consistency and vapour, I am guessing that they are between the 50PG/50VG – 30PG/70VG.

Texture:

Full bodied and creamy

Steeping:

Steeping is recommended due to the creams.
Mine has been steeping for approximately 37 days.

Bottled Clouds use standard plastic squeeze bottles with needle tips, and child proof caps for their 30ml bottles.

Odis O-Atty with single ss contact coil @ 0.2ohms on a coppervape squonk mod.
Kennedy 22 RDA with 0.3 ohm dual SS coils at 60 – 80 watts
