eJuice Review 110: Uni Cream by Bottled Clouds

img_20161207_093507Bottled Clouds have been around for a few years, but until late, access to their juice range has really only been through facebook and private messaging.
This has all changed now as they have created an online store, and made it easy to get access to them.

Their original recipes haven’t gotten a lot of attention outside of their local market, so I’ll be reviewing a few of their juices and letting you all know how I go!

Today I’ll be reviewing “Uni Cream” (Universe Cream).

You can pick up The Bottled Clouds range from their website @ http://www.bottledclouds.com.au

From the website:

“A creamy sweet Strawberry Cake”

The Review:

Thick and creamy, delicious cake-iness and a hint of strawberry make this flavour a standout in the Bottled Clouds lineup.

This isnt one of those pink, fake cream and strawberry cakes, its more of a homemade sponge with real cream, and strawberry sauce drizzled over it all.

The creams in this are amazing, as they were with Sweet Cuzzberry, New York Red, Mellow Mellon.
They are thick, creamy, vanilla, with an edge that many cream based flavours seem to lack.

The cake in this to me is reminiscent to a sponge cake, something that is a little richer than your standard white sponge. I find that Im getting a bit of a coconut nuance in it, so this could be cause for the additional richness.

The strawberry is not really dominant, you can taste it but it mixes with the creams and cake so well, its almost a strawberry cream rather than a seperate ingredient. There isnt any fresh strawberry tartness, its quite sweet, so more like a strawberry jam or sauce.

The inhale is a really sweetened, almost whipped cream with a slight cake texture. There are hints of strawberry sauce in here but not a full mouthful, its more like the strawberry just passing by.

Exhale gives me the full flavour, with thick creams, a backnote of sponge cake, with strawberry sauce flowing through and combining with each of the flavours to create a nice thick dessert vape.

The end of the exhale is quite sugary, as is most of the Bottled Clouds flavours. You can taste the sweetness on your lips.

Really nice flavour guys, its up there with New York Red!

Colour:

Light honey colour

Scent:

Cake / Cream

Coil damage:

A little coil damage and darkened wick, due to added sweeteners I assume.

PG/VG Ratio:

There is no information on PG/VG ratio on the bottles, however I received 30ml singlers, and going by the consistency and vapour, I am guessing that they are between the 50PG/50VG – 30PG/70VG.

Texture:

Full bodied and creamy

Steeping:

Steeping is recommended due to the creams.
Mine has been steeping for approximately 36 days.

Presentation:

Basic labelling in black on white with juice name and “Bottled Clouds” logo. (no other information)
Bottled Clouds use standard plastic squeeze bottles with needle tips, and child proof caps for their 30ml bottles.

Test rigs:

Odis O-Atty with single ss contact coil @ 0.2ohms on a coppervape squonk mod.
Kennedy 22 RDA with 0.3 ohm dual SS coils at 60 – 80 watts
