e-Juice Review: Pineapple from Simply E-liquids!

Welcome back guys, it’s the beginning of the week, and I’m pretty busy as always, so I’ve got a quick e-liquid review for you.

If you’re not familiar with the “Simply” range of e-juices, they are a collaboration between Mr Wicky, Alpine Cloud Co, Bogan Brews, and Vapoureyes, produced in New Zealand, and designed to be no-nonsense, straight up flavours that hit the spot. You won’t find elaborate mixes and blends here, these flavours are here to give you the full experience of the fruit you’re looking for, and that is it! Simplicity!

Let’s take a look at “Pineapple” from the Simply range.

Specifications:

Inhale & Exhale

On the inhale, the pineapple is pretty soft to start with, it’s a lighter flavour, more stewed pineapple than a bright and tart fresh pineapple, but things do get more intense as vape progresses.

At the top of the inhale, while the warmer smoother pineapple is in fine form, you’ll notice a little bit of a puckering tartness appear across the palate. It’s a sweet tartness, not overly obtrusive, or difficult to vape, but you’ll instantly recognise it as that same feeling you get from biting into a fresh pineapple piece.

As you exhale, the tartness falls back once again, and you’re left with a sweeter, more mellow flavour similar to the inhale. Not quite a stewed pineapple but also not the full profile of freshly chopped pineapple pieces, somewhere in the middle, sweet, yet tart, smooth with the tiniest kick.

My Thoughts

This is exactly what it says on the tin. Pineapple. Nothing more, nothing less. If you’re expecting some fancy blend of pineapple with other fruits, you won’t get it here! The creators behind this have purposely gone to great lengths to make this simple Pineapple as accurate as they could, and I think they’ve done a fine job!

I found it a little on the lighter side, and could’ve handled it to be a little stronger in the flavour department, just a little more flavour and a little more of that bite, would have made this even more authentic!

There’s no excessive sourness, nor sweetness to be seen here, this Pineapple offers light and fresh Pineapple chunks, with no strange notes, nor undesirable florals, it’s an excellent rendition of the real thing.
