eJuice Review 152: Rockmelon Sorbet by Juice By Coops

IMG_20170302_181005-01If you’re in any vaping Facebook groups, you’re bound to have seen these guys pop up every now and then.

Juice by Coops has been operating for a while now. At the moment they only take orders via their Facebook page(http://facebook.com/groups/JUICEBYCOOPS/), so you’ll need to contact them directly to put an order in.

They’re based in Western Australia, and pride themselves on their 100% original, hand crafted, max VG recipes.

Today I’ll be reviewing “Rockmelon Sorbet”!

The Review:

Wow, a Rockmelon that I actually like!

Rockmelon is something that I’ve never really enjoyed eating, I just don’t like the texture, and I find the astringent skin notes just unpleasant.
So, knowing that, I figured that I would get stuck into this one and get it over with, assuming that I wouldn’t like it.

How wrong was I!

This is not your typical rockmelon, it’s a hell of a lot more sweeter, and doesn’t have that skin note that I hate about the real thing.

The sorbet, takes the Rockmelon and gives it a really sugary sweetness, making it really juicy and refreshing.

On the inhale I get mostly Rockmelon, with a touch of sweetness. The Rockmelon is quite light at this point, so much so that you’d be forgiven for not recognising it, as it’s not really distinctive until the exhale.

The exhale sees the flavour pick up a little. The Rockmelon is still very light weight, however a little stronger than the inhale. The sweetness really drives home here. It’s a sweet sugary blast that turns this flavour into a really candy-esque Rockmelon, except mouth watering and juicy!

I detect something else in this juice, not only this flavour, but also in the last. It’s a mild earthy tone that I can’t quite put my finger on. Perhaps it’s the VG, an additive or perhaps it’s Coops special ingredient. I don’t know if it is in all of the flavours at this stage, but I’ll chime in after I’ve sampled a few more.

All in all this is another great flavour from “Juice by Coops”, something that I was pleasantly surprised with, and definately didn’t last long once I loaded it up to vape!
