The first bunch of samples that I reviewed from Silk Road Vapour a while ago were great, I was very impressed with the flavour, quality, and nice consistency of flavour intensity from their line.

The Review:
There’s been a lot of dessert and milky flavours across my desk lately, so I’ve been looking for something with a little bit of a clean and refreshing finish for a bit of a change. The Fahren Special fit the bill nicely!
“The Fahren Special” is a really clean and refreshing citrus mix of lemon and lime, with a chilled and palate cleansing minty menthol finish.
Whilst described as a lemon/lime, I’m finding that the lime is a lot more forward facing in this juice. The lemon is there, but more as a supporting note. It’s sweetness countering the tartness of the lime, all the while adding even more body to the vape.
The lime to me is more of a real and citrusy lime, similar to a key lime flavour. It has that earthy city’s tone that is instantly recognisable.
I’m finding that the lemon is not as realistic and citrus as the lime, perhaps it is just because it is not as noticeable, but it introduces a little sweetness, backing up the lime and rounding it out.
When menthol and lime are mixed, I find that the menthol takes on a little bit of a different persona, almost coming across as a mint somewhere between a spearmint and peppermint. I love that it does this, as it makes this a lovely clean flavour, but not too clean in a watered down way.
On the inhale, I instantly get key lime with all of its citrusy goodness, obviously not at it’s strongest but that will come.
The exhale sees the lime intensify, and the lemon begin to shine through. As mentioned earlier, It brings with it a little sweetness and supports the lime really well. The ratio of mix with these two is well done.
Toward the end of the exhale, the menthol kicks in, cooling things down, with a minty taste keeping things clean and bright, leaving me with a really refreshed palate.

Top notch presentation as always from Silk Road. This time around they’ve got some fancy new labels, embellished with some gold/copper striping on satin black background.
I received 30ml ready to vape clear unicorn bottles with child-proof caps all sealed up nicely.
Test rigs:
Hadaly RDA with single SS coil @ 0.3 ohms on a bottom feed mod.
Kennedy RDA with dual SS coil @ 0.4 ohms on a regulated mod running 50-80 watts.
