eJuice Review 58: Banana Nut Bread by Vagabond Vapour

banananutbread_1024x1024Im finding a new found respect for Vagabond Vapour. Don’t get me wrong, Ive totally loved their juices from the moment I first tried them and they have always delivered on flavour. But going back over them has helped me realise what delicate, complex flavours they really are, and how much time and effort really has gone into them.
Kudos to you Masa, you continue to create some fantastic mixes 🙂

So without further ado, here is my second review of the flavours that Vagabond have provided me with.

Banana Nut Bread.

You can pick up the Vagabond Vapour range at any good Aussie vape store or from their website @ https://vagabondvapour.com

From the website:
“There’s no romantic story here, just some damn good Banana nut bread while killing time at an airport coffee lounge.
FLAVOUR PROFILE: Soft banana nut bread with a condensed milk icing”

The Review:

Vagabond know their bananas, Nam Wa Banana is excellent, and so is this one.
You could be forgiven for thinking that Banana Nut Bread is a reworked Nam Wa Banana, as the banana nuance is very similar, but that really is where the similarities end.

Where many Banana nut breads have either the banana or the Nut as the dominant flavour, Banana nut bread by Vagabond Vapour introduces you to the full flavour profile, leading with a burst of banana, then the Nut and breads (or cake) appear whilst the banana trails off a little to blend in with the mix, leaving you all 3 nuances subtly teasing your tastebuds in a near perfect replication of the real thing.

As mentioned, inhale consists of warm realistic bananas (no confectionary here) a lovely profile.

Exhale has the Nut and bread coming through at even mixes, whilst the banana trails off a little at the same time.
It’s a flavour progression that I find that real banana nut bread shares.
There is a little bit of sugary goodness toward the end of the exhale also, making this not only a bloody good nut bread, but a nut bread with frosting!

The warmth of the vape definately helps as you’d be hard pressed to not feel as though you’ve just eaten the real thing and had some of the flavour rolling around in your mouth.

Another really well balanced mix from Vagabond Vapour, you guys are really good at this aren’t you!

Where to buy:

You can pick up all of the Vagabond Vapour eliquids directly from their website (https://vagabondvapour.com) or from any one of the many, many physical and online vape stores that stock them.

Colour:

Clear/slight caramel tint

Scent:

Banana

Texture:

Very full flavoured with a lovely thick texture

Steeping:

Pretty sure this one will benefit from a steep to help the banana mature and the bread nuances come through. I steeped for just over a week.

Presentation:

Chubby Gorilla bottles! Hell yes! These bottles are just awesome, childproof and so easy to squeeze juice out of.
White labels with colour coded Vagabond logo, as usual very professional looking.

Test rigs:

Hastur v2s with dual coils @ 0.2ohms on a coppervape squonk mod.
Serpent Mini with single Clapton @ 0.3ohms on an istick pico
