e-Juice Review: Custard from VAPR Labs
Welcome back you lot. Yeah I know I’ve been slack with e-liquid reviews lately, there’s been a lot of hardware coming my way lately, so priority has been put into those. I will still be reviewing Aussie juices though so don’t worry, just perhaps not as many as I have in the past.
I’ll be slotting them in-between the hardware reviews now.
Anyway, at last look we were checking out the VAPR range of e-liquids, of which I’m just over half-way through the flavours that were sent to me. I’ve knocked out the fruity and candy based flavours (which were all fantastic) and now onto the desserts!
First dessert of the rank will be a custard!

Inhale & Exhale
On the inhale, I notice mostly thick custard notes, along with some of the vanilla ice cream. As always with desserts, the flavour is smooth and note quite as pronounced at first, but it quickly increases as you get further into the inhale.
Both the custard and ice cream seem to sit at the same intensity levels here, side by side, yet beginning to mingle together for a nice thick creamy texture.
At the top of the inhale and just before, I notice a light yet rich fruitiness coming through the creams. It’s that familiar bite of apple with a little pastry, very very toned down however, ever so slightly poking it’s nose out beyond the custard and Ice cream, turning this creamy vape into more of a robust and dynamic flavour.
As I exhale, the bite from the apple lessens, leaving a nice background fruitiness, as the custard and ice cream strengthen to finish off as the dominant flavours, with the apple pie, while not so prominant, pulling up the tail end, to keep your taste-buds wanting more!
A lovely dynamic custard, this isn’t just creamy, but with a rich fruity backnote to keep things interesting!

My Thoughts
I really like how VAPR have thrown some apple pie in here, they’ve also not drowned out any of the custard and ice cream with it, instead going for a fruity back note kind of feel, much like you’d notice a fruity note in a beer. Not dominating, but supporting and lifting the profile up just that little bit.
The Ice cream and custards used are thick and sweet, with a nice solid punch to them. This is definitely a flavour that’ll keep those die-hard custard fans cheering.
