e-Juice Review: Burst from VAPR Labs

Hi folks, I’m back again today with another e-liquid review. This is another flavour from VAPR Labs. Yes, I know it seems like I’ve been going on this range for a while now, to be honest, I’ve had far too many hardware reviews to get through to focus on e-liquids of late, but I am slowly moving through them.

This range from VAPR Labs is pretty eclectic, it’s a pretty diverse range of flavours, so you’re bound to find a few that you love. It’s been mostly candies that you’ve seen me review lately, but there are a few desserts coming up soon. But for now, lets get stuck into something super sweet!

Specifications:

Inhale & Exhale

On the inhale, I get that candy strawberry right away, it’s not at it’s strongest point here by a long shot, and it’s already quite a flavour!
As I inhale, the sweetness turns a little syrupy, really developing that hard candy profile, lip smackingly sweet.

At the top of the inhale, there’s a touch of tartness, obviously not as much as you’d get from a real strawberry, but there is some, but most noticeable is how sweet this is at this moment. The bit of tartness, doesn’t detract from it, in fact it only seems to drive the sweetness home even more, really putting the taste-buds through their paces. Think concentrated flavouring kind of flavour intensity and you’re close to how strong this is.

Through to the exhale, and that sticky sweetness is still here, but gradually fading as the exhale rides out. I get the flavour, just not as intense as I reach the end of the vape. The room smells of sugary sweet candy, not like you’ve just opened a packet, but as though you’ve just melted up a pot of strawberry toffee over the stove, it’s in your face, it’s intense and really quite strong.

My Thoughts

Not a bad juice if you love your punch of sweetness. For me, it’s a little too sweet, overly sweet to the point that the flavour suffers and becomes a little too much for my taste-buds to handle.

It’s a nice flavour, true to a strawberry hard candy, perhaps not a chewy strawberry candy though. It’s a little syrupy and sugary sweet, with a lightly tart inflection at the top of the inhale, which along with the super sweetness creates quite a bit of tang and a hard candy profile.

If I were to compare this to anything, I’d say that it most matches one of those ‘heart’ hard candies that come individually wrapped, not spot on but very close.

Definitely not recommended for high wattage vapers, due to the huge overindulgence of flavour, but on the flip-side, would be fantastic for people who use PODs and lower wattage mouth to lung vapers.
