How to: Fill a bottom coil clearomizer

BCC’s or bottom coil clearomizers have become popular with the creation of ‘clearos’ such as the Kanger protank, kanger evod, and many others. Their superior flavour and vapour production over traditional top coil clearomizers have been discussed on many an online forum. They have become so popular that many have been cloned, not only the tank sections but also the replaceable heads.

Here is how to fill one.

  1. While holding the clearomizer upside down (mouth piece to the floor) unscrew the base from the main tank piece.
    1.removebase
  2. Give the base and the head a little wipe to get rid of any excess liquid.
    2.placeupsidedown
  3. While avoiding the centre tube, begin filling the outer area of the tank with liquid.
    3.fill
  4. You can fill this right up. Just be sure to stop before the end of the inner tube, so juice does not spill out through the center tube.
  5. If there is excess juice in the center tube, you can use a cotton bud or piece of twisted tissue to clear it out.
  6. Screw the base back onto the tank while still holding the tank upside down.

  7. Give the seam a little wipe with a tissue as I often find some juice has squeezed out past the seal. (If you ever ended up with juice on your fingers and seem to be smearing it every where you go, this is the likely culprit.
  8. Attach your battery of choice and vape away!
