eLiquid Review 293: Swango by Priority Blends

eLiquid Review 293: Swango by Priority Blends

Today we’ve got another one of those juices that gets quite a bit of social media exposure, handchecks and the like. It’s always received pretty good reviews.

This one is similar to the last, in structure, not so much flavour. This is another fruit with a thick cream base. This time it’s mango!
Today I’ll be reviewing “Swango”!

This juice was supplied by the vendor.

From the website:

Sweet juicy ripe mango, with a smooth creamy base . . . Yum

The Review:

I knew that this would be something I could sink my teeth into. Mango is a lovely refreshing flavour in a vape, it’s always fairly strong and sweet. This one isn’t just a fruit however, “Swango” is a fresh juicy mango served over the top of sweet vanilla ice cream and thick sweet cream.

Individual Notes

Obviously the main note is the mango, it’s sweet and juicy, and unlike many other mangos, doesn’t seem to have much of that earthy peel nuance. Don’t get me wrong, the peel or skin nuance can make a juice. It adds character, and realism to the flavour, but with Swango, leaving it out, or diluting it creates a cleaner and more succulent mango flesh vape.

The other major player here is the cream/ice-cream. As with “Krusha“, The cream takes on an ice cream feel, but not purely ice cream. It’s lighter, a little fluffier. With a bit of a whipped cream feel, that sort of takes the focus from the vanilla ice-cream. Just like “Krusha” the creams contrast well with the mango, and creates more of a realistic fruit milkshake. Unlike “Krusha“, I am getting a bit more of a marshmallow feel from this one.

Inhale & Exhale

The inhale is very much mango, light and sweet, with just the smallest amount of cream. Granted, on the inhale everything is not at it’s full intensity, but the mango is still pronounced enough to give that juicy mouth feel.

At the turn of the inhale and onto the exhale, everything intensifies, with the creams picking up a little more, really thickening things up. This is definitely not a full on flavour fest. Quite the contrary, I notice that the mango is not as strong as it possibly could be, but I suspect this was done on purpose, to create a fuller vape, without the mango going into too strong territory. The creams are delicate, sweet, light and fluffy, with just that hint of vanilla shining through.

Final thoughts

It’s really hard to describe this, as it is quite a simple flavour, but works so well. Is it a mango thickshake? Mango juice over icecream? A mango cream? Take you’re pick, it tastes like all of these. Take everyones favourite tropical fruit, and add dollops of thick ice cream, and you’re pretty much there.

This has been one of my favourites so far, and it sits side by side with “Krusha” as being one of those all time favourites that is really easy to come back to. You’ll easily go through a 120ml bottle of this stuff without getting tired of it. It’s very more-ish and a bit of a thirst quencher too!

Nice work guys.
