eLiquid Review 296: Sugar Bean by Priority Blends

eLiquid Review 296: Sugar Bean by Priority Blends

Today I have the last of the 6 flavours that I have for review of the Priority Blends range.

I’ve been suitably impressed by the flavours that I’ve tried and found them not only of great quality, but of a normalised flavour intensity. (Most are of a similar intensity) and true to their descriptions.

There’s been a few stand-outs, but all have been really good, well thought out flavours mixed with skill and attention to detail.

Today’s flavour is a little different than the usual desserts or fruits, let’s give a coffee vape a go!

Today I’ll be reviewing “Sugar Bean”!

This juice was supplied by the vendor.

From the website:

A mild freshly roasted coffee with an overlay of caramel

The Review:

Coffee is a tricky profile. Quite often the first few vapes are fantastic, but then the flavour can grate on you and you get tired of it quite quickly.

Not so here, with the addition of a splash of caramel, “Sugar Bean” takes on a sweet yet strong long machiatto, with that familiar ground coffee taste and a dash of milk to thicken things up a little.

Individual Notes

Earthy gritty ground coffee is the primary note here. Alone it might well be an over the top espresso.

But, it’s followed by a light dash of caramel and cream to thicken things up and cream up the texture turning this into a lovely creamy caramel machiatto.

Inhale & Exhale

The inhale is not as intense as the exhale, however, up front I’m greeted with a light caramel coffee note, much like a latte with a little caramel dashed into it. It’s milky, thick textured caramel coffee, quite nice.

At the exhale the coffee note ramps up, intensifying the ground coffee bean nuance. The bitterness and earthiness of the beans also intensifies changing the very latte inhale into a stronger coffee shot, more akin to a machiatto, nearly as strong as an espresso, but creamy.

The caramel comes along for the ride also intensifying but not dominating, it adds that extra sweetness and syrupy goodness without making things overly sugary.

Final thoughts

A great flavour as far as coffee flavours go. It’s smooth and creamy, thick and has that unmistakeable ground coffee feel. At times gritty, and at others, silky smooth.

If you love coffee vapes, this one will be right up your alley! Nice work guys!
