eLiquid Review 271: Caret by Symbolic Vapour

Ive got something new for you all today. Symbolic Vapour have just released this flavour, and it’s something for all of you dessert connoisseurs!

Today I’ll be reviewing “Caret”!

Loaded with roasted peanuts smothered in warm caramel, with backnotes of cream and banana.

The Review:

This new flavour was described to me as polarising. Youll either love it or you’ll hate it.

It is definately different, it’s a flavour that goes against the mainstream of sweetened fruit and candy juices and caters to those looking for something more savoury and smoky.

“Caret” is a roasted peanut flavour with backnotes of caramelised banana and rich creams.

This is a gentleman’s juice, the kind of flavour you’ll appreciate after a hard day at work and relaxing with a glass of whiskey at the end of the day.

Individual Notes

The roasted peanut is the main note here. It’s quite a dry note, smoky and light. I get a bit of a tobacco feel from it.

The banana is a realistic banana flesh, a warm caramelised banana, it’s a little sweet, full bodied and thick textured.

The caramel I feel is the blender, it bridges the roasted peanuts, and banana with the rich cream bringing each individual note together to create this decadent dessert.

Inhale & Exhale

On the inhale I immediately get the roasted peanut as the dominant flavour. It’s more of a smokey almost tobacco note rather than carrying the unique peanut that I was expecting. As the inhale continues the caramel washes over the peanut richening things up a little.

At the turn of the exhale, the banana begins to appear, blending wonderfully with the caramel giving off a real baked banana in caramel sauce type of feel. The banana does not dominate at all, imagine a peanut brittle with dried banana pieces added to it, and you’d be getting pretty close to this profile.

The exhale finishes with a nice, thick cream fading everything off into a silky smooth caramel with hints of banana and tobacco falling in behind.

Final thoughts

Ive really enjoyed this flavour. It’s a profile that I love and totally appreciate the work that goes into them. If you appreciate a smoky dessert vape like I do, you really should be all over this one.

Definately a vape for when you’re sitting back and enjoying a quiet night at home. Great work guys!
