eJuice Review 133: Very Berry Slushie by Vaporfi

So, Vaporfi have sent me some of their flavours to review. If you’ve been living under a rock and don’t know who Vaporfi is, they are a company based out of Florida in the USA that have had some success over the years with their rebranded hardware specifically focused on the beginner market.

As a result of this, they’ve accumulated a huge range of flavours, that have received quite a few glowing reviews. In particular, I hear that they have some pretty good tobacco based flavours. (Perfect for the beginners market).

There is a tonne more information I’d like to share with you about Vaporfi, all good things, I will leave that to my final wrapup piece though so as to not let this into get out of hand.

So let’s get into it!

Today I’ll be reviewing “Very Berry Slushie”.

The Review:

I was a little sceptical when I first read that this was predominantly a watermelon flavour. Watermelon is a very light flavour and quite often not very realistic.
I then read the rest, berries, check, icy finish, check!

These other two additions make this juice what it is.

Don’t get me wrong, the watermelon in this is quite nice, in fact a lot better than other watermelon flavours out there, but definately not realistic.

The berries seem to be a mix of small berries that work really well, strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, that sort of thing. I can’t tell them apart, but it is a great little mix of nuances that really adds to the watermelon and gives it some tartness and bite.

The menthol, or Koolada I should say, because it doesn’t have any menthol flavour, is at the perfect level. It doesn’t bite you when you inhale, and it’s not too hard to find. It gives a suitable coolness to this flavour, and a lovely refreshing finish.

On inhale its Watermelon all the way baby! The Watermelon comes through smooth and at a very decent level of flavour, slowly backed by a touch of berry.
The koolada kicks in at the end of the inhale as the berries start to take hold as the watermelon drops off somewhat.

Exhale sees a sugary sweetness join the fray, as the tartness of the berries picks up but smoothens out to let the watermelon back in.
The end of the exhale is a refreshingly, cool, sweet mix of watermelon and berries done right.

Presentation:

Wow. Presentation plus for this. The 30ml bottle arrived in a slushie cup!, which carried the same branding and imagery for the flavour.
The bottle inside is clear glass with a white childproof glass dropper, nice professional labelling with all of the information you could possibly want included on it. Even down to the nicotine warnings etc.
