eJuice Review 302: Tightrope by Aunty Kat’s Sumptuous Blends

Today’s random review from the juice box, is from a fairly new juice-line that has recently been created. From the folks over at Vape Your Way, comes “Aunty Kat’s Sumptuous Blends”.

There are only 3 flavours at the moment, but I’m sure there will be plenty more in the future.

Today I’ll be reviewing, “Tightrope”!

A Funambulist act, tantalising Mango and Mandarin in eurhythmic shade of a Coolabah tree.

The Review:

Perfect timing for a fruity vape, with the weather warming up recently.
This flavour not only smells fresh, sweet and juicy, but tastes just as good.
“Tightrope” is a fresh juicy, earthy mango, with sweet high notes of mandarin, and a very light breezy menthol adding just that little bit of coolness that refreshes the palate.

Individual Notes

The mango seems to the primary flavour here, it’s a juicy, fleshy note with a little earthiness showing through, not enough to dull the impact of the flavour but just enough to provide that unmistakeable mango feel and lower note.

The mandarin comes in as the support for the mango, introducing a little citrus high note that floats above the mango from time to time, adding moisture and that little bit of zest to create some dimension.

Following both of the fruits is a light dusting of menthol, which compliments the other flavours, promoting quite a moist vape and cooling everything down a little, giving it that refreshing chilled beverage feel.

Inhale & Exhale

The inhale is an even mix of both mango and mandarin, with the mango being most dominant and the mandarin a more supporting note. The flavours aren’t too strong at this point but levelled out nicely, and a great ease in for the exhale.

As with most juices, the exhale intensifies all of the flavours, with both the mango and mandarin taking centre stage, with their juicy fleshy characteristics. The mango lessens a little here, allowing the mandarin to shine through a little more, showing off its taller citrus nuance adding some depth. As the exhale continues, things cool down a little with a splash of menthol. It is totally not overbearing and after a while you almost don’t notice it, but it adds to the overall fruit juice feel and really drives it home.

Final thoughts

A lovely clean, refreshing flavour, perfect for the summer months. If the other flavours in the “Aunty Kat’s” range are even close to this in quality and flavour, we are all in for a treat!

Very nice presentation here. I picked up 50ml hard plastic squeeze bottles with sauce type twist top caps. The labels carry vintage circus style graphics, the flavour name and all of the information you’ll ever need.
