eJuice Review 157: Shkittles – Juice by Coops
Introduction:
If you’re in any vaping Facebook groups, you’re bound to have seen these guys pop up every now and then.
Juice by Coops has been operating for a while now.
They’re based in Western Australia, and pride themselves on their 100% original, hand crafted, max VG recipes.
Today I’ll be reviewing “Shkittles”!
The Review:
I love skittles, they are one of my favourite candies. My teeth don’t like me for it, but I’m a sucker for those little multi-coloured balls of goodness.
Now, there are quite a few fruit flavours in them, so as you can imagine, most Skittles flavoured eliquids are targeted at replicating single fruit flavours of the candy, or that distinctive flavour you get when you chuck a whole handful in your mouth and chew.
“Shkittles” by Coops tastes exactly like the latter. So much so, that when vaping it, I almost expect that tongue tingle I get from the real thing. Let me tell you, this juice is moreish just like the real thing too. I couldn’t put it down!
This is quite the complex flavour, and the only person who knows how it was put together is never going to tell you!
Is it a rainbow candy concentrate, with various addon flavours? Is it a complete flavour made from scratch? We will never know!
What I can tell you is that I pick up on various flavours, lemon, lime, orange, cherry, I could name more, but picking them all out and talking about how each effects the other would take me all day. All of the nuances and notes combined though, is what makes the unique skittles flavour famous, and so recognisable, so let’s treat it as that, a unique flavour. You all know what they taste like 🙂
On inhale, I get that unmistakable Skittles nuance, its as though Ive picked up a few different flavours of them and shoved them in my mouth and started to chew. Its quite a nice light and sweet flavour at this stage, not overbearing and definitely not something I want to put down.
The exhale amplifies everything, the flavour, the sweetness. This stage is just like Ive been chewing on a bunch of skittles for a while and all of the flavours are kind of mixed together. Picking out the various nuances is difficult at this point, and it takes on quite a sugary quality.
I love that Coops seems to have dialed this back a little. It’s not as strong as some of the other Skittles flavours available, and I thank him for it! Many are totally overbearing and some even do take on a slight medicine taste. This one doesn’t, its as sweet and flavuorsome as the real thing, but doesn’t play games with over flavouring, so you’ll always be able to get that awesome flavour without risk of flavour fatigue.
Nice job on this one. Definitely one I’d recommend.

Presentation:
The Juice by Coops range comes in clear unicorn bottles, with black label, carrying the Juice by Coops logo, with skull and the name of the juice printed on the base of the label. There is no other information printed on there.
