eJuice Review 124: Division by Symbolic Vapour

IMG_20161214_174101-01This week, Im going to review a relatively new juice line that was launched toward the end of 2016.
Symbolic Vapour hail from Western Australia, and have some pretty cool branding.

Each juice is named after a symbol (hence the name Symbolic Vapour). With juice names such as “Tilde”, “Question mark” and “Division”, and logos to match each one, their flavours certainly demand a bit of intrigue.

So without further ado, let’s get stuck into them!

Today I’ll be reviewing “Division”.

You can pick up the Symbolic Vapour range from the their website @ http://www.symbolicvapour.com.au

From the website:

A strong, refreshing, “smack in the face” style citrus extravaganza.

Lime based, with a smattering of other citrus fruits, this juice is perfect for low powered devices, or anyone who just loves a great citrus blast.

*designed for low powered mouth to lung devices.

The Review:

This juice has a very large Key Lime note to it.

Whilst it is the dominant flavour, it is not overbearing like some Lime flavours can be, and the bitterness is kept to a minimum. (We all know how bitter Key Lime can be)

The description says that there is “a smattering of other citrus fruits” in this, and I’m sure there are, I just cant seem to get past the lime in order to find them.

Lemon definately seems to be in there, but I can only guess beyond that, that perhaps it is orange or mandarin that is keeping the lime in check.

Dont get me wrong, when I mentioned that this is not overbearing, it isnt, but this is also not a flavour for those who do not like citrus!
It can be brutal, but at the same time you’ll find that your tastebuds will get used to it and you will begin to appreciate the different citrus notes as you find them.

On inhale I notice more of a Lime rind flavour passing through, its a jolt to begin with but subsides the further the inhale goes.

On exhale, the juicy, lime flesh flavour creeps up and takes hold, it has a sudden sourness, that just as quickly drops off as the other sweeter citrus flavours counter it.

I really like how Symbolic Vapour have restricted the bitterness of the lime by using other sweeter citruses, it adds a little complexity whilst still keeping with the citrus feel of the juice.

If you’re a citrus lover, you have got to try this one!

(Note: Due to the citrus, this may crack or otherwise deteriorate plastic, so keep it out of plastic tanks 😉 )
