eJuice Review 236: Bourke St. by Silk Road Vapour
The first bunch of samples that I reviewed from Silk Road Vapour a while ago were great, I was very impressed with the flavour, quality, and nice consistency of flavour intensity from their line.
They proved themselves a professional outfit, skillful in their mixing as well as providing a top notch customer service with their fast shipping times and dealing with my many questions eloquently.
I’m very pleased to have some more of their range to review for you all, and this time, with some “You-Beaut” brand-spanking new labels!
Today I’ll be reviewing “Bourke St”!

How can you say no? Mmmm peppermint slice. Fluffy peppermint cream tops crunchy vanilla biscuit. Refreshing, but devilish. Chocolate and mint were made for each other.
The Review:
You may not notice it straight away but there is a bit of a surprise to this classic choc mint flavour.
“Bourke St” is Silk Road’s take on an old favourite, a classic rich dark chocolate, with chilled peppermint and a surprise subtle biscuit base.
I really like this little addition of a biscuit note, it certainly makes for something different, and provides even more depth to an already great flavour.
The chocolate with the addition of the biscuit to me gives this juice an almost chocolate mousse consistency, perhaps even a little more cakey. It thickens the body and provides an awesome bready texture.
On the inhale we have chocolate with a real cocoa note to it, with a hint of peppermint coming through.
The exhale is where all of the magic happens. The chocolate really takes off with its rich creaminess, and the biscuit starts to shine through from the background, introducing a moist cake consistency.
It’s a genius move adding the biscuit here, it works really well.
Through to the end of the exhale, the peppermint strengthens as well as a little extra coolness, I assume from some koolada, finishing the vape off with a refreshing chill.
Quite a nice rendition of an old favourite, nice one guys!

Steep this one as long as possible folks! Chocolate benefits from a good steep.
Presentation:
Top notch presentation as always from Silk Road. This time around they’ve got some fancy new labels, embellished with some gold/copper striping on satin black background.
I received 30ml ready to vape clear unicorn bottles with child-proof caps all sealed up nicely.
Test rigs:
Hadaly RDA with single SS coil @ 0.3 ohms on a bottom feed mod.
Kennedy RDA with dual SS coil @ 0.4 ohms on a regulated mod running 50-80 watts.
