eJuice Review 237: Banana Smoothie by Silk Road Vapour
The first bunch of samples that I reviewed from Silk Road Vapour a while ago were great, I was very impressed with the flavour, quality, and nice consistency of flavour intensity from their line.
They proved themselves a professional outfit, skillful in their mixing as well as providing a top notch customer service with their fast shipping times and dealing with my many questions eloquently.

Today I’ll be reviewing “Banana Smoothie”!

Take a trip to the tropics! It all starts with ripe banana’s, full cream milk, a touch of brown sugar and a hint of cinnamon. A fresh velvety taste that rolls off the tongue. Definitely a summertime favourite!
The Review:
Definately not what you’ll expect, this one is a banana with a difference!
“Banana Smoothie” is a smooth mix of real ripe bananas, thick cream, sweet sugar and mildly spicy cinnamon making this banana a little more complex with a little bit of tang.
I’m really liking how this mix comes together. I’d stop short of calling it rich, but it is definately a culmination of various textures and nuances brought together for a bit of a sensory treat.
I get instant banana with a hint of warm cinnamon on the inhale. It’s sweet yet lightly spicy, warm and quite full bodied.
On the exhale the banana remains fairly consistent, whilst the cinnamon takes on a really sweet nature, with a little bit of tang. The tang is quite zesty, and reminds me a little of pineapple. If you told me there was a touch of pineapple in here, I’d believe it! Even though I know it is just the cinnamon playing on my senses.
The smooth milk or cream and brown sugar also make an appearance on the exhale controlling the tang, and providing a little more thickness and body to the mix as well as a sugary sweetness that follows through to the end of the exhale.
As mentioned earlier, this isn’t your typical banana. If you’re keen on a realistic banana with a light cinnamon tang, look no further!

Perhaps not necessary, but couldn’t hurt and may help the flavours mature.
Presentation:
Top notch presentation as always from Silk Road. This time around they’ve got some fancy new labels, embellished with some gold/copper striping on satin black background.
I received 30ml ready to vape clear unicorn bottles with child-proof caps all sealed up nicely.
Test rigs:
Hadaly RDA with single SS coil @ 0.3 ohms on a bottom feed mod.
Kennedy RDA with dual SS coil @ 0.4 ohms on a regulated mod running 50-80 watts.
