eJuice Review 130: Backslash by Symbolic Vapour
This week, Im going to review a relatively new juice line that was launched toward the end of 2016.
Symbolic Vapour hail from Western Australia, and have some pretty cool branding.
Each juice is named after a symbol (hence the name Symbolic Vapour). With juice names such as “Tilde”, “Question mark” and “Division”, and logos to match each one, their flavours certainly demand a bit of intrigue.
So without further ado, let’s get stuck into them!
Today I’ll be reviewing “Backslash”.
You can pick up the Symbolic Vapour range from the their website @ http://www.symbolicvapour.com.au
From the website:
A loving recreation of a childhood favourite banana ice cream.
Pops with banana flavour that will have you reminiscing about those Summer days as a kid, enjoying that banana confectionery ice cream treat.
The Review:
This flavour is pretty much what I had expected, a nice smooth and creamy banana cream. There is a bit more of an ice cream nuance in this one though so probably more of a creamy banana ice cream.
Its light, smooth and sugary, just like the old Aussie ice cream favourite, the banana paddle pop.
Another really cool thing I like about “Backslash” is that it has a slight realistic banana note in there, that I recognise from the original ice creams. Every now and then you would sink your teeth into them and have a realistic banana flavour pop out at you from behind the ice cream confectionary.
A really nice surprise and a very nice touch.
On inhale the banana is a little more dominant than the ice cream, it’s pretty sweet and sugary at this point, very banana candy-ish. The ice creams and/or creams start to build up during the inhale, getting thicker and thicker as you continue on.
Exhale is smooth smooth banana and ice cream, still candy-like until somewhere in the middle you get a little bump of realistic banana popping up. It just as quickly disappears, but it’s a welcome addition.
By this point the ice cream has reached its peak, and packed your mouth with a lovely thick cream texture and everything is fading in together to finish off with an equally smooth end of exhale.
I great solid and smooth flavour, an all day vape for banana and dessert lovers!
