eJuice Review 248: Marilyn by High Class Vape Co

Today I’ll be reviewing “Marilyn”!

With this eliquid, we feel that we captivated the perfect balance of a sweet natural strawberry, mixed it with sweet marshmallow fluff to make a mouth watering vape that is so beautifully crafted, anyone that is standing around you will want a few puffs from your mod.
The Review:
I’ve tried a tonne of straight up strawberry flavours in my time, and most of them come across with a very realistic strawberry but quite one dimensional and many very astringent. Not so here.
“Marilyn” is a realistic naturally sweet strawberry, with a light and fluffy marshmallow providing a satisfying thick body, and full vape.
I’ve been bitten by other strawberry vapes in the past, that were spot on strawberries. But the problem with a realistic juicy strawberry is that it doesn’t translate to vaping very well, for me anyway. The earthy external seedy notes work really well, and the transition to a juicy fruit I find a pleasure, but then I hit the height of the flavour and the tartness just ruins everything for me.
I find that really tart vapes tend to be too bright, and not only make my tastebuds go nuts, but they also affect my breathing somewhat. I get a tightness in my throat and I just don’t feel very well vaping them. It’s almost as if there is something in them that is not supposed to be vaped.
Marilyn has these same features, but dialed right back.
It is as if the creators recognised the potential issues with a straight up strawberry, and have purposefully minimised it whilst still giving the full benefit of the juicy realistic fruit.
This is one strawberry I can vape, without any of the usual side effects, which I am ecstatic about.
On the inhale I pick up the earthy tones of the strawberry seeds straight away, as the inhale continues, they fade back a little as the juicy and tart strawberry juice begins to show. Its a great introduction, and sets the stage for that realistic strawberry feel.
At the turn and onto the exhale, I notice the flavour intensify, just as the tartness begins to become more noticeable, the smooth marshmallow makes an appearance with its fluffy yet thick texture and adds some more body, blending with the strawberry and countering it’s tartness, preventing it from becoming too much.
The light sweetness also blends well into the mix turning the juicy tart strawberry into more of a sweet strawberry thickshake with blended marshmallows.
Finally, a strawberry/cream that is done right, and I can vape! If you’re into strawberry vapes you’re going to love this one.

Presentation:
Really classy branding here. Each of the Bombshell range are named for old school actresses such as Sophia Loren, and Marilyn Monroe. I received 60ml Gorilla bottles sealed and ready to vape.
The white labels with old wallpaper pattern adds a touch of class and contain all of the necessary information.
Test rigs:
Hadaly RDA with single SS coil @ 0.3 ohms on a bottom feed mod.
Kennedy RDA with dual SS coil @ 0.4 ohms on a regulated mod running 50-80 watts.
