eJuice Review: Flappy Jacks by Vapesters

eJuice Review: Flappy Jacks by Vapesters

There’s only a few juices around with this profile in Australia, why, I do not know. Perhaps it’s because it is more of a traditional American flavour.

Whatever the reason, it is a shame that so few are out there, it’s a great flavour! Let’s get on with it!

Today I’ll be reviewing, “Flappy Jacks”!

This juice was supplied by the vendor.

From the website:

Who can resist a good stack of pancakes?

Especially a stack of pancakes that could be described as the best pancakes ever flipped. Imagine the maple syrup running down the edges of that warm golden tower, the whipped cream starting to melt. With Flappy Jacks, theres nothing stopping you from having more of the worlds largest stack of pancakes; and its all yours!

The Review:

I picked this one up totally expecting it to blow my face off with rich syrup notes and obnoxious Graham cracker. I really should know Vapesters by now, of course it’s the polar opposite. A light, and delicately mixed fluffy pancake flavour with a trickle of syrup and a dollop of whipped cream.

Individual Notes

Theres a few notes that I pick up in this juice that you may not expect but let’s get to the nuts and bolts first.

The Whipped cream is quite creamy, very light and airy which thickens the whole vape and blends everything really nicely. It is fairly dominant compared to the other notes, which contributes this as being more of a dessert vape.

The syrup is definately a maple and quite dialed back, I guess to avoid too rich of a note taking over everything else. Ive a feeling that the cream aids in dialling this back also. The maple is a typical maple syrup, sweet, sticky and with a slight burnt feel.

The pancake is more of a doughy flavour, just like the syrup, it is very light. The dough makes it feel like a thicker pancake mix rather than the typical thinner style pancakes.

Some nuances that I also notice are, a bit of a vanilla custard and some caramel. I could be completely off base with these two though, as the culmination of the other flavours and the profile could be creating these.

Inhale & Exhale

The inhale is mostly whipped cream, it is sweet and light, whilst still carrying a thick texture. There’s a little milliners to it.

Also the pancake dough appears on the inhale, it’s sweet and a little airy, a little like doughnut, it is really light at this stage.

At the turn of the inhale onto the exhale, the dough and whipped cream intensify until the maple syrup kicks in.

The maple syrup slowly grows in intensity, adding a rich dark sweetness to the mix as it goes.

It’s at this point I pickup the custard and caramel nuances, quite possibly a side effect of the maple mixed with whipped cream. The dough may even contribute to the vanilla that I notice too.

The end of the vape is a thick yet light marshmallow like cream with a hint of sweet syrup and a backnote of fluffy dough. A really nice blend.

Final thoughts

A very tasty juice and a nice play on the old maple syrup pancake, it’s light, tasty, as well as having that instant juicyness and sweetness from the syrup, with the thickness of vanilla cream.

Lovely all day vape here folks. Well done Vapesters!
