eJuice Review 196: Fat Bastard by Vapesters

Introduction:

Vapesters have been around for a little while, although relatively new, and I’ve been meaning to try their flavours for just as long.

Vapesters hail from Melbourne, and pride themselves on producing eliquids that are tasty, top quality and bursting with flavour!

Today I’ll be reviewing “Fat Bastard”.

From the Website:

RASPBERRY! RASPBERRY! RASPBERRY! A supercharged raspberry blowout with a fat bastard of a biscuit base worthy of the best Master bakers France has to offer. Topped with a hint of cream, this beautiful artwork of flavour will leave you gobsmacked! No need to watch the calories though, you can vape this all day, guilt-free!
Inhale: A massive raspberry blast, infused with the authentic taste of France’s finest pastry.
Exhale: Freshly baked goodness with fresh sweet flavor, with sneaky fruits and cream.

The Review:

If you’re looking for a raspberry pie type of flavour, you’ve come to the right place!

“Fat Bastard” is a thick and tasty raspberry cream flavour with bakery backnotes that will keep teasing you into taking one more vape.

Im really loving this one. The raspberry in this juice is a really juicy, realistic yet candied raspberry. There are nuances of both, coming together to create a top notch moreish raspberry.

The creams are mainly there for balance, to thicken things up and help everything to come together. They’re not stand out flavours but do still play an important role. To me, the cream is a sweet cream, or a light and fluffy whipped cream.

The pastry! This one is hard to pick out any distinguishing nuances, it is quite a light backnote, that provides a little grit, and fullness to the vape. I liken it to more of a pie base than baked goods like a doughnut, but that could be just me. I find the lack of cinnamon and the sugary aspect of it to give off more of a dessert pie base flavour, which of course works well, as this is a dessert flavour!

On the inhale I immediately pick up on the raspberry, while it’s light at this point it is the flavour that’s front and centre. Accompanying the raspberry is a light cream, that sets the tone for this being a dessert flavour rather than a light fruit.

On the exhale the raspberry intensifies, and the cream with it to a certain extent. The cream is definately still keeping to the background as a supporting note. At about the halfway mark I pick up the bakery notes appearing gently at first, just a light touch, but getting progressively stronger, and mixing with the other flavours which then all slowly become one for a deep, smooth and creamy finish.

I’m really liking this flavour, it does help that I’m a raspberry fan, but Vapesters have done a brilliant job with this. Their layering is wonderful and like some of their other flavours I’ve already tried, is very moreish!

If your a raspberry or a dessert fan, this should be at the top of your list.
