eJuice Review 272: Dagger (no chill) by Symbolic Vapour
Following on the back of the newest flavour from Symbolic Vapour, today we have a revamped release of a previous favourite.
Today I’ll be reviewing “Dagger (No Chill)”!

The Review:
Even though this is the same juice as the original, just without the menthol, I felt it needed it’s own review as I’m finding that it is a completely different beast.
Dagger (No Chill) is still a refreshingly fruity orange and mango topped with a smooth light cream, just like the original, but I’m finding that the missing menthol allows the fruits to come forward and really show you what they’ve got.
The tangyness is still there, the full flesh mango with the slightly tart yet sweet orange seems even more flavourful than the original. The flavour is thick, with a seemingly higher intensity, whilst being sweeter and somewhat layered.
I think the menthol was holding this one back, it’s light and day, a completely different feel, and a really juicy and delicious vape.
Individual Notes
The mango is thick and fleshy, slightly earthy but sweet at the same time. It’s just like eating a real mango after slicing it up into juicy pieces.
The orange seems to cut through the mango with its taller notes, adding some citrus and a touch of tartness, really completing things. More of an orange juice than an orange with it’s rind, it really compliments the mango well, evens it out and helps a great juice come together well.
Inhale & Exhale
The inhale is all mango this time around, it’s light at this point but its thick flesh is distinctive and really drives the beginning of the vape.
At the turn of the exhale the mango increases in intensity to give that really full mouth flavour and texture, as the orange juice eases in gently, gradually thinning things out again and adding a citrus kick that adds more dimension and a high note to counter the mango’s lower end flavour.
The cream thickens things up toward the end of the exhale still providing that sorbet feel, and controlling the exhale for a smooth finish. The cream here isnt really noticeable as a cream, more as a thickener. I pick up a little vanilla in it, so more of an ice cream note (but without the coolness of course).
Final thoughts
I don’t know what it is about this one, but I think I like it better than the original, and I loved the original.
Maybe it’s the stronger intensity of the fruits, or perhaps it is just that they are more dominant now that the menthol is not there to share the glory.
Either way, I love it and this is definitely all day vape material, it will make a fantastic fresh and clean flavour for summer. Great idea splitting the menthol out guys, it’s like a brand new flavour.

Presentation:
Always great presentation from Symbolic. I received a 30ml clear plastic bottle of ready to vape. The bottles have needle tips and black childproof caps. The labels are simple and classy with their black background and individual symbol for each flavour. You’ll also find any other information you might need on the labels too.
Test rigs:
Hadaly RDA with single SS coil @ 0.3 ohms on a bottom feed mod.
HAKU RDA with single SS316L coil @ 0.30ohms on a regulated mod running 50-80 watts.
