eJuice Review 132: Bites Vanilla Caramel Swirl by Vaporfi

IMG_20170114_131640-01So, Vaporfi have sent me some of their flavours to review. If you’ve been living under a rock and don’t know who Vaporfi is, they are a company based out of Florida in the USA that have had some success over the years with their rebranded hardware specifically focused on the beginner market.

As a result of this, they’ve accumulated a huge range of flavours, that have received quite a few glowing reviews. In particular, I hear that they have some pretty good tobacco based flavours. (Perfect for the beginners market).

There is a tonne more information I’d like to share with you about Vaporfi, all good things, I will leave that to my final wrapup piece though so as to not let this into get out of hand.

So let’s get into it!

Today I’ll be reviewing “Bites – Vanilla Caramel Swirl”.

You can pick up the many juices in the Vaporfi range from the their website. Also Vaporfi have been kind enough to share a link with me so that my readers can get a discount. If you visit their site via the link below you will get 12% off storewide! So get on it and take a look at the Vaporfi website.

From the website:

This year’s box office hit! Bite into a delectable cinema treat re-purposed as a tremendous flavorful vape juice. Each draw of this e-liquid provides an epic, chewy thickness of vanilla ice cream blended in a bed of gooey caramel. A rich and creamy vanilla ice cream melts onto your tongue filling your mouth with deep pools of bursting taste. Caramel fills the flavor body with a delicate combination of rich, deep, sweet texture.. As the final remnants of this e-juice level off, a Bavarian cream finishes off this box office hit with a thrilling back note.

The Review:

unnamedAn interesting flavour this, and I’ll venture to say that it is a little more complex than many reviewers and vapers give it credit for. The sniff test gives me a lot of caramel, and a touch of vanilla.
Vaping it is a totally different experience.

I pick up a range of flavours in this one, from caramel and chocolate notes, right through to the vanilla bean ice cream, Bavarian cream and light cinnamon that gives it it’s real sugary sweetness.

The caramel is quite true to life, the kind you’ll drizzle over your ice cream or you’ll find mixed in with a sundae. As I mentioned, I get a slight chocolate nuance in here, which seems to mix more with the caramel to give it a richer note.

The vanilla and creams are thick and full bodied, leaving you with a thicker mouth feel and a smooth and satisfying vape.

As for the sweetness, cinnamon is responsible for most of it, with a little sweetener added to really drive the sugary sweetness home.

On inhale I pickup rich caramel with a chocolate hint. Bavarian cream is here also but only right back in the background as a supporting flavour. I don’t notice it all the time but it is there.

On exhale the vanilla and creams thicken up and become quite a bit more noticeable. Not as front and centre as the caramel, but it all starts to take on more of an ice cream feel.

At the end of the exhale the rich caramel and vanilla drops off a little, as the Bavarian cream smoothly comes back into the fray and cinnamon begins to make things quite sweet for a sugary aftertaste.

A nice, flavoursome and sweet vape, that’ll keep dessert and sweet lovers happy all day.

Nice job Vaporfi!

Colour:

Light Honey colour

Scent:

Caramel / Vanilla

Coil damage:

This one did gunk my coils a little, and browned my wicks. There is some sweetener in this juice.

PG/VG Ratio:

30PG/70VG

Texture:

Thick and creamy, full bodied

Steeping:

Steeping is recommended due to the creams, mine has been steeping for just on a month now.

Presentation:

Wow. Presentation plus for this. The 30ml bottle arrived in a small ice cream cup, which carried the same branding and imagery for the flavour.
The bottle inside is clear glass with a white childproof glass dropper, nice professional labelling with all of the information you could possibly want included on it. Even down to the nicotine warnings etc.

Test rigs:

Odis O-Atty with single ss contact coil @ 0.2ohms on a coppervape mod and/or Frankenskull clone.
Serpent Mini RTA with 0.6 ohm single Clapton at 30 – 50watts
