Nevoks Pagee Pod Reviewed

Nevoks Pagee Pod Reviewed

Nevoks kind of burst onto the vape scene not long ago, nailing their “Nevoks Feelin” pod, and gathering quite the following because of it. They’ve gotten a pretty good reputation for their slower release rate, making sure that their product is not only fit for purpose but their quality is top notch too.

Notably, they were first to introduce the TPE skin-friendly mouthpiece ( on the Nevoks Feelin), their innovative SPL coil system, and the first compact vaping device with a 1000mah battery.

They’ve pushed out a couple of product releases of late, this one being the latest, the “Pagee Pod”.

Let’s take a look at the Nevoks Pagee Pod!

Big thanks goes to Nevoks and FlavourHype Distribution for sending this directly through to me for review!

General Info & Photos

The Nevok’s Pagee is a tiny little device, not only small but lightweight too! Measuring in at only 77.6 x 44.6 x 12.6mm and a very light 70grams, it manages to fit not only a 950mah battery, but a 2.2ml Pod, USB Type-C charging, display screen, adjustable airflow, and adjustable wattage controls!

The Body

The main frame of the Nevoks Pagee is quite stylish, I’ve got the ‘Space Grey’ version, but you’ll notice from the photos that the other colours all share a similar carbon fibre finish to them. It’s a clean professional look, and on such a sleek device, is a nice fit.

The body is made from a combination of lightweight zinc alloy and carbon fibre on plastic panels to keep the weight off. This really is the sort of device you can carry in your top shirt pocket without weighing you down.

There are two buttons on the device, the top button is for adjusting the wattage, and the side button for firing the device manually should you want to.

Up top is a lanyard connection point, and the Pod recess. Connecting the Pod operates on a slide in/slide out type of principal, with magnets at the bottom to make sure your POD pulls downward onto the two gold plated connection points, which sit in their own little recess, ensuring that even if you do get some seepage from the Pod (you won’t) that it won’t go over the edge and onto your hands.

On the front face, you’ll notice a small LCD screen, which you can use to see your wattage, puffs, battery level, coil resistance, and if you have the device set to draw activation mode or manual.

Off to the side again, Nevoks provide you with a USB Type C charge port, in a handy location, so you can charge with the device upright rather than needing to lie it down, and on the base your adjustable airflow controller. (More on the adjustable airflow further on in the review)

The POD + Coils

The Pod is of course a tinted plastic, just like many Pods are, it will hold 2.2mls of e-liquid, uses push in Nevoks SPL Mesh coils, and slides onto the body with connecting magnets to make sure it stays put, and doesn’t fall off if you’re being a little rough with it.

The fill port is on the side, hidden behind a little rubber plug, and will also take a removable 510 drip tip.

The drip tip supplied is a really cool 510 duck bill style drip tip that is super comfortable, but if you don’t like it, no stress, just remove it and you can use one of your very own.
The duck bill drip tip is quite interesting, because it uses a 510 connection, you can spin it in place, to adjust how it sits in order to get an even more comfortable angle depending on how you hold the device.

The Nevoks Pagee comes with 2 different SPL mesh coils so you’re covered if you’re a MTL vaper or prefer RDTL vaping. Note that these coils are the very same that also run in the Nevoks Feelin Pod, and are cross compatible which is wonderful. Cross device coil compatibility is always a bonus.

The Pagee will limit your wattage depending on which coil you insert too. Hows that for smart! You’ll get a maximum 25Watts for the 0.6ohm coil, and a maximum 15Watts for the 1.0 ohm coil.

  • SPL-10 Mesh Coil 0.6Ω x 1
The 0.6 Ohm coil is excellent for low wattage Restricted Direct to Lung vaping. With the airflow mostly open, you really can get a nice warm and dense vape from it. This coil is rated for 18-25 Watts, and you’ll not want to go too high as this is a pretty accurate estimate. I’ve found anything over about 22 watts, will give you shortened coil life.
  • SPL-10 Mesh Coil 1.0Ω x 1
This coils is excellent for Mouth to Lung vaping. While inserting this won’t give you a really tight vape, more of an open MTL draw, it does do an excellent job at delivering flavour on the low wattage that it runs. This coil is rated for use between 10-13 Watts and that is pretty much spot on for it’s best use.

Airflow

The airflow adjustment in the Nevoks Pagee, is a little out of the ordinary, rather than being at the top of the device, like so many others, Nevoks have placed it underneath the device, and adjustable via a small wheel. It’s definitely an interesting place to put it, and doing it like this makes sure that you don’t cover it when trying to hold this tiny device.
You can see that the airflow continues from the slot at the base, through the device, and up and out to the area just below the Pod, so that air can travel up through the coil.

The adjuster works really well, and Nevoks have done a great job making sure there isn’t a lot of unintended airflow entering in through the area where the Pod meets the device, which makes the adjustment at the base all the more effective. It has a nice resistance to it too, you definitely won’t be adjusting this by accident, in fact, you have to really pay attention to it when you are adjusting it, which might actually be a con depending on how often you like to adjust your airflow.

Filling

Filling is straight forward, just like many, remove the pod, unplug the rubber plug, fill it up and plug it back up.
Nothing more to it and the rubber grommet/plug is sturdy enough to last through multiple fills, with no real wear shown to be of any concern.

Battery

The battery in the Nevoks Pagee is huge for the size of the device. You’ll get a 950mah internal battery, with a USB Type-C charge port for quick charging. It’s great that Nevoks have placed the charge port on the side of the device too, nothing worse than needing to lay a device down to charge from the bottom!

That 950mah battery will last you quite a while too, and when it’s low, you can charge it from empty to full, in around an hour. Oh, and it also does pass-through charging too, so if you need to take a vape, you can do so while it charges!

Any Leaks?

Seriously none. I’ve barely even seen any condensation under the pod, after 2 weeks of constant use, storing it in pockets etc…

Usage & Features

There isn’t a lot to this little device, clearly you can do things like adjust wattage, lock the device, power it down etc, but there are no other modes, or features that could confuse. It really is a newbie friendly Pod, and that is a good thing! No overly complex button sequences here, everything is designed to be as intuitive as it can be.
To top all of that off, you also have a screen to see all of the information as you change it. (The screen is a little fuzzy/cloudy, but it works well)

Here’s how you operate the Pagee:

  • On/Off : click the side button x5 times
  • Enable/Disable draw activation: click the side button x3 times (‘M’ will appear/disappear meaning manual)
  • Change wattage: Press the top button. ( Wattage will change in 1W icrements all the way up to 25W and then round robin back to 5W again.
  • Button Lock/Unlock: Hold both buttons together.

Pros:

  • Small portable size
  • Lightweight
  • Excellent flavour and vape
  • Long lasting coils
  • No leaking
  • Decent sized battery
  • Variable wattage
  • Airflow adjustment
  • USB Type C charging

Cons:

  • Airflow adjustment not easily changed
  • Screen display a little fuzzy

Where to Buy:

You can purchase the Nevoks Pagee directly from the Nevoks online store for around the $36 USD price point, or from your favourite local Aussie vape store, there are a tonne that are stocking them and there are too many to list, but for around the $45 AUD mark, you’ll be able to get your hands on one.
Lastly, if you’re looking for wholesale and want to get some in to stock, Flavourhype Distribution are the guys to go to, they are the local distributor.

Conclusion

The Nevoks Pagee is an excellent little device to carry out and about with you. Not only is it small and lightweight but it packs a punch for it’s maximum 30 Watts, and the coils put out a much more powerful vape, closer to much more powerful coils on larger devices.

Despite other reviewers not really liking the bottom adjustable airflow, I kind of do. It’s out of the way, the adjustment doesn’t change when it’s in your pocket, and it doesn’t really get in the way. The way I see it I suppose, is I’m not really adjusting it every minute of every day, it’s more like a set and forget sort of thing for me.

I love how small this is, and the excellent vape that it puts out. Having the option between draw activation and manual button pushing is great too. Throw in a screen, adjustable wattage, and a 950mah battery and this really does impress.

I didn’t really like the quality of the screen, it’s a little cloudy/fuzzy and while only a small con, really could be cleaned up a little for an even better impression. Not a massive issue, but to leave this level of detail out, while the rest of the device is virtually flawless, is a shame.

All in all, colour me impressed, and I think this is going to be carried around with me for some time to come!
Well done Nevoks! Another excellent device to the collection!
