e-Liquid Review: Mangoo ICE from Solomons Clouds
Happy New Year everyone! Last year was pretty challenging with plenty of up’s and down’s for our industry. We took a few hits, but kicked a few goals as well, hopefully this is the year we can push forward and make a difference!
For my first review for the year, I’m carrying over from last week’s reviews of the Solomon’s Clouds range, there’s a few desserts coming up soon so stay tuned for those, but for now, let me show you what I’ve been quietly vaping on for the last few days.
Today’s flavour is “Mangoo ICE” from Solomons Clouds.

Flavour Description

Sweet ripe Australian mangoes, with a dash of blackcurrant, sprinkled on ice . This juice has all the deliciousness of a mango, with none of the annoying pips in the middle. Although we can add them at your request.
The Review
What a great idea, I’d never have thought to mix Mango and Blackcurrant before, but it works really well.
Sweet and juicy fleshy Mango, is jazzed up a little with some tangy blackcurrant and a super cold chill to make the perfect summer vape.

Individual Notes
The main flavour in this mix is of course the Mango. It’s a sweet and thickened Mango flesh flavour, silky smooth with a distinct fresh mango kick. Think syrupy sweet with a texture to match, a very good mango.
Filling up the background is the blackcurrant, with it’s sweet yet slightly tangy berry feel, and unmistakable blackcurrant profile. It’s not as heavy as the mango, which makes it the perfect pairing partner to provide the cleaner profile of the two contrasting magnificently against the Mango with a little tang and lighter texture.
As “Graporade ICE” also had, this one has an icy blast to it. WS23 cooling agent, makes sure you get a chill while vaping it. It’s not overdone, but if you’re not used to or expecting it, you might just get a little shock if you take a massive first toot!
Inhale & Exhale
On the inhale, soft and sweet Mango tones appear straight away, lightly at first and intensifying in strength as the inhale continues. You’ll likely notice a little menthol chill appear here, only a small amount at this point, but noticeable.
As you begin to reach the top of the inhale, sweet blackcurrant and berry notes appear through the mango, not overtaking things at all, just joining the general profile. It almost sneaks in there with how gradually it appears, and you only really notice it once it strengthens at the top of the inhale.
Once you reach the top of the inhale, the blackcurrant strengthens, as does the Mango, creating a lovely contrast of silky smooth mango flesh, against the tangy almost fizzy profile of the blackcurrant, with the menthol chill well and truly starting to take hold from the cool inhale. This is quite a unique blend, but it works really well to create a very fruit juice type of mix.
Carrying on through the exhale, the blackcurrant gets a bit of a boost from the colder temperature, as the mango winds back, where you’ll get a more cold soda or soft drink feel right through to the end of the exhale.
Final thoughts
This was a great choice to vape during the last few warm days, the cooling level in this one is spot on and the blending contrast between the silky smooth mango and sharper blackcurrant, makes for a very strong and tasty mix.
Could I pick on anything? No not really. This flavour is blended really well, ensuring you get an even amount of both fruits at specific times, and holds its flavour even after 4 days. This one is definitely all day vape material.

Presentation:
The whole Solomon’s Clouds range has a very professional presentation. I received 60ml Chubby Gorilla bottles, with tamper proof seals and child proof caps. The bottles are dark tinted with black caps and needle tip dispensers.
On the label you have Solomon’ s Clouds and the flavour name prominently displayed front and centre, with matching colour band, and a bunch of other information. PG/VG ratio, bottle size, flavour profile, Lab information, website url, Ingredients and barcode. I noticed that there are no warnings at all on the label besides “This product contains zero nicotine”.
What is on the label, which I really love, is a scale that shows how much juice you have left in the bottle up to one of the inside edges where the label doesn’t quite meet together. A popular spot to hold your bottle up to the light to see how much is left is made that much more useful with a scale that goes through “Refill”, 1/4, “Half”, 3/4, and “Full” stages.
A very cool idea!
