Today, I’ll be reviewing “Caramel Banana Biscuit” from Butlers Choice Eliquid.
(This eliquid was supplied by the vendor for review.)

Flavour Description

[From the website]

“This one is for those with a sweet tooth. Rich blends of Caramel, Banana and Biscuit. This flavour is outstanding and delicious.”

The Review

A Banana Caramel is a pretty safe bet when it comes to flavours, you know what you’re going to get. It’s often a very thick and creamy realistic banana caramel, rich and sweet, a total dessert treat.

This one is no different, “Caramel Banana Biscuit” is a warm caramel, thick and rich with that typical caramel richness, accompanied by a realistic banana flesh, stewed, not fresh, and a background toasted biscuit note, to tie everything together into a complex dessert profile.

Individual Notes

The note you’ll instantly get in this is banana. It’s a riper, almost warm and stewed banana, very much like you’d get from a banana pancake, rather than fresh out of the peel. Speaking of peel, there isn’t really any skin note, this is mostly the banana flesh, smooth and blended so seamlessly with the rest of the flavour.

The caramel that you’ll get here is a sweet, rich caramel, very sugary, quite strong, but not strong enough to overpower the banana, they actually work really well together. Picture just a splash of caramel sauce over stewed banana slices and you’ll be pretty close to how these to compliment each other.

It’s difficult to tell the biscuit here, as it’s very much a background note that sits at the back of your mouth most of the time, I think it’s more of a Graham Cracker, but it also does remind me of that dense sticky base that you’ll get from a cheesecake.

Inhale & Exhale

On the inhale, you’ll notice most of the flavours straight away. The biscuit and caramel are the strongest, and you’ll likely notice them first, with the banana appearing and growing more intense as you continue the inhale.

Already quite a strong dessert, things get even stronger. As you exhale, the richness of this flavour starts becoming more noticeable, gone is the subtle banana and caramel, this is instantly a thick and rich dessert.

Progressively, everything gets stronger, and in doing so all of the flavours blend together even more, making it difficult to pick out the individual flavours like you could on the inhale. Just as you begin to feel that things are beginning to get too strong, the richness falls away a little and you’re left with a smooth, sweet, banana, caramel, biscuit washing through.

Final thoughts

As far as desserts go, this flavour is great. It has just the right flavour intensity, the combination of flavours is blended really well, and it vapes like quite a sweet and complex mix.

The addition of the biscuit was a great idea, changing things up and really pushing the boundary between a caramel biscuit and a banana cheesecake. The warmer banana and the sweet caramel without doubt place this strongly in the dessert category. If you were to want to make a “Caramel Banana Biscuit” this is precisely the flavour you’d be aiming for.

Can I pick on anything in this? No, not really. It’s a good solid flavour that ticks all of the boxes, great for dessert lovers.

A job very well done guys!

Presentation:

As always, Butler’s Choice have some pretty professional packaging. I received 60ml Chubby Gorilla styled clear bottles with black child-proof, crack seal lid. These bottles have needle tip dispensers, and are made from a harder plastic, so a little more difficult to squeeze.

The labels are the same as the flavours that I reviewed a while ago, black with a patterned background, with little tiny icons floating around that match the flavour. The usual information is available on the label, logo, juice name in flavour oriented colours, size, VG/PG ratio, Ingredients list, and keep out of reach of children warnings.

Test rigs:

Original Haku Cruiser running a single 0.17 framed staple coil on a mech mod.
Augvape Intake RTA with a 0.2ohm Stainless coil running @ approx 50-80 watts.
