eLiquid Review 453: Biscuits and Cream by Butler’s Choice Eliquids

Here we go! The last of the Butler’s Choice Eliquids that I have here to review. I’m sure you’ll agree from the previous week’s reviews that these guys have put out some impressive profiles, demonstrated some great mixing, and have some pretty professional presentation!

They do have a heap more flavours to choose from besides the ones that I’ve reviewed, so if they’ve gotten your attention, you should go over to their site, and take a look. If they’re anything like the ones that I’ve reviewed, you’re guaranteed a great all day vape!

Anyway let’s get the show on the road!

Today, I’ll be reviewing “Biscuits & Cream” by Butler’s Choice Eliquids.
(This eliquid was supplied by the vendor for review.)

Flavour Description

This ones for those who like deep sweet fluffy Creams that’s well balanced. A must have if you also like custards as its all in here.

The Review

So Biscuits and Cream sounds like a pretty great profile huh! Yeah I think so too. I picture some type of butter biscuit with light fluffy whipped cream, really clean tasting and a lovely sweet dessert.
That’s not what this is however!
“Biscuits & Cream” from Butler’s Choice Eliquids, is a rich cookie base, a little doughy, a little toasted, with light and fluffy whipped cream, all blended together with some sweet Vanilla Custard!

Individual Notes

The main note in this is of course the biscuit, it’s in the name, it’s not only the dominating flavour, but the constant throughout the entire vape. You’ll get it on the inhale, right through to the end of the exhale. It’s a very generic biscuit, not quite being a Chocolate ripple, not quite a Butter Ripple but somewhere in between, with it’s light doughy nature, to it’s toasty overtones. I’d put this one between a “Scotch Finger Biscuit” and the two sides of a “Monte Carlo” (minus the jam).

The cream is not at all that noticeable in taste, more-so in texture, providing a thickness and creaminess that blends really well with the biscuit creating an almost caramel quality to the vape. It’s a sweet or whipped cream, light and fluffy, yet creamy and thick.
There is a Vanilla Custard here too. It blends harmoniously with the whipped cream, sweet and thick, and bridges across to the biscuit really well.

Inhale & Exhale

The inhale will have the biscuit appear instantly, at this point it is a very generic biscuit, and you’ll struggle to put an image to the flavour that you’re tasting. Which type of biscuit is it? Is this a richer fuller biscuit, or a lighter, sweeter shortbread? It’s neither at this point, and that’s why I mentioned generic. It’s no doubt a biscuit or a cookie, but the ambiquity of the flavour is completely open to interpretation.

To me it’s a little “Scotch Finger Biscuit” not quite as milky as a “Yo-yo”.

You’ll also notice as you inhale, that there is a slight creaminess. It’s a light and fluffy cream, a whipped cream, no real presence however besides a little sweetness and thickness.

Over to the exhale, the biscuit begins to get a little more of a profile, it takes on more of a honey, softer biscuit feel. Still very indistinguishable, unfortunately, but quite a strong base note. Along with the strengthening biscuit, you’ll also notice a little vanilla custard. It doesn’t really stick out at you, but it’s there, most likely as more of a supporting note for the biscuit, bridging it and the cream.

As the exhale continues, the rich biscuit combined with the custard and creams, create quite a smokey, or lightly toasted feel, a little unexpected, but welcomed none-the-less, to give this a very nice thick doughy finish.

Final thoughts

This new was not what I expected at all! But that’s ok, that’s my bad for making assumptions. This is a rich biscuit base, slightly dry with a toasted feel. The cream and custard do a great job of limiting the dryness and turning things into more of a caramel biscuit dessert.

I think this one might be well suited as a base for mixing other flavours to also. I couldn’t help thinking that a fruit like raspberry might go perfectly with this to make a raspberry ripple.

I great base for dessert lovers, you’ll enjoy the richness of this one as well as the endless possibilities.
Great job guys!

Presentation:

Butler’s Choice eliquids are presented really well. I received dark tinted 60ml bottles, not original Gorilla bottles, but very close, and are very good quality. The caps were relatively easy to remove for adding nicotine, and they have screw down child-proof caps and needle tip nozzles.

The labels are professionally designed, dark with a nice background, and the butlers choice badge front and centre, along with the colour coded eliquid flavour name. A nice touch I thought were the randomly placed tiny icons depicting each flavour in the background of the label.

All of the information you might need is right there on the label. Bottle size, PG/VG percentage, Ingredients as well as a 0mg ‘zero’ nicotine statement.

Test rigs:

Haku with slam cap running a single 0.17 framed staple coil on a mech mod.
OBS Engine RTA with a 0.2ohm Stainless coil running @ approx 50-80 watts.
