eJuice Review 204: Life of Pie by Vapesters

eJuice Review 204: Life of Pie by Vapesters

Introduction:

Vapesters have been around for a little while, although relatively new, and I’ve been meaning to try their flavours for just as long.

Vapesters hail from Melbourne, and pride themselves on producing eliquids that are tasty, top quality and bursting with flavour!

Today I’ll be reviewing “Life of Pie”.

From the Website:

Why stop at one slice, when you can have a whole Life Of Pie!
The zesty punch of freshly squeezed lemon. The creamy, sugary sweetness of the fluffiest baked meringue. Once you taste it, you will believe that this lemon meringue pie has been the life’s work, and proudest creation of Italy’s finest baker. Seconds, anyone?
Inhale: Beautifully sharp lemon curd, followed by a slightly toasted meringue taste
Exhale:lemon again, but toned down slightly with an extra biscuit/pastry-like savoury crunch that rounds it all off perfectly

The Review:

So folks, this is it. We’ve come to the end of the road in my Vapesters Australia juice reviews. Of all of the flavours that I’ve received, this is the very last one for now. I’ll be doing more reviews on Vapesters range as new flavours are created though, so don’t worry, this is not the last you’ll be hearing of them!

I’ve kept something a little special until last as it’s part of their “limited edition” range. I have heard that this will be making it into their regular line-up if it hasn’t already, so if you like the sound of it, you’ll have no issues getting your mitts on some.

“Life of Pie” is a zesty, bright lemon with creamy, sweet and fluffy meringue, sitting atop a tasty biscuit/pastry that will bring back memories of family desserts past and have you bolting down to the cheesecake shop once you realise you’d forgotten how awesome a lemon meringue pie can be!

This is a great flavour, it’s full bodied with plenty of fluffy meringue, and delicious lemon highlights playing off of each other. The biscuit really gives that cheesecake or pie finish to it all as well. Quite a well rounded flavour.

On the inhale I mostly pick up on the Lemon and a slight meringue. They are both quite light but have a perfect ratio to each other, neither overpowering the other.

The exhale sees it all intensify with the lemon and meringue still maintaining their even mix. Things start to get a little creamier at this stage filling my mouth with flavour and a smooth sweet cream.
A little ways into the exhale a biscuity bakery note appears, blending seamlessly with the mix and finalising the profile. It’s not really sugary like a doughnut, more like a Graham cracker base not unlike a dessert pie or a cheesecake. It’s light but enough to make itself known, and at a level where it doesn’t take away from any of the other notes.

Lightly complex, full bodied with smooth meringue and highlights of lemon make this one awesome lemon meringue pie.

What a flavour to finish off with! Great work guys.

It’s been a pleasure and a privilege to be able to review the Vapesters range.

Folks, if you haven’t tried their flavours yet, add them to your list, they’ve got some fantastic mixes, every single one of them is packed full of flavour and really are up there with the best eliquids in Australia.

Vapesters chef related past shines through in all their flavours with spot on flavours that mingle well with each other and not one I’ve tried has had an overbearing single flavour like other juices I’ve tried. I agree with you, Vapesters range is up there with the best Aussie juices.
