eJuice Review 13: Admiral V by VapourEyes

Another juice review! Yay!

Ok, this is another one from one of my favourite vendors, not just because every juice of theirs I have tried has been brilliant but because they are local for me also.

You just cant beat free shipping for orders over 50 bucks, and usually in the post the same day you order. Big shout out to Ed and Mo for your great service! Very friendly chaps too!

I have been a little reluctant to review this one for a while, as it is quite complex and not doing a detailed description of the flavours simply wouldn’t do it justice. But here I am after trying it in clearos, drippers, RBA’s, using it as an all day vape, higher watts, lower watts, cotton, silica, and every other build I could throw at it.

There is one thing I can say about this, it is consistent. Really, really consistent. I get the same vape from it on everything. As long as the wick is wet, this just vapes wonderfully with everything. The only real thing to note that may be different between builds is that you get a much deeper flavour profile the higher watts you use. The higher notes really come out, and smack you the higher you go.

On inhale, I get cream, akin to sweet cream, and bavarian cream. Out pops a slight cereal note for a moment. It is smooth it is pleasant, it fills your mouth with flavour. At that point the Strawberry (strawberry ripe I’m guessing) dances across the back of your tongue and the exhale keeps it flowing. The amount of strawberry added is perfection. It is slight, but noticeable, and leaves you wanting more. Which is a great thing for an all day vape. You will spend all day chasing that deep strawberry in amongst the creamy cereal notes. There is something else in the exhale that gives a sweetness, it is complimentary to the strawberry, and completes it. I am guessing a little pear or something that rounds it all out and keeps it bright.

Admiral V is definately a favourite of mine, one of my all day vapes in fact.

I always recommend this to dessert vapers and people wanting to grab a top shelf flavour for a reasonable price.

One last thing, steep it. It’s fantastic right away, but given a week or two for the flavours to meld, it becomes exceptional!

Flavour profile:

From the VapourEyes website: “Tastes exactly like a glass of strawberry milk, which is great because I am lactose intolerant… Extraordinarily creamy. Plus it’s got an awesome mascot, Admiral Vesca. JUST LOOK AT HIM!!!”

Texture:

Creamy, creamy, desserty, strawberry!

Throat hit:

Really nice throat hit. FYI, VapourEyes doublers are 50/50 pg/vg so a little thicker than some, but the throat hit is still there.

Vapour:

Plenty, it is 50/50 after all!

Presentation:

Brilliantly simple. Standard plastic bottles with needle tip dripper, and simple black and white labels. (FYI, I believe they’ve reworked their labels now with a bit of colour, looks like another order is overdue 🙂
