eJuice Review 27: Nightmare (Strawberry Fields) by Vape Monster
I’ve seen Vape Monster juices around a few local Vape stores and have always been curious about them.
Yet another local juice Vendor from the vaping mecca Adelaide, South Australia.

Flavour Profile

“Perfectly ripened strawberries blended into a strawberry cupcake.
A Nightmare draws on your most terrifying fears and uses them against you. This demon terrorises its victims while they sleep. It sits on their chest, holding them to the bed and paralyses them to the spot, unable to move and fight the terrifying dream. Victims of Nightmares know that there is a presence with them, but they are unable to react or fight the demon. It causes night terrors, ones like you are running through a field of strawberries unable to escape the demon chasing you.”
The Review:
When this bottle was fresh, my initial thoughts were that the strawberry was quite harsh, and in your face.
Being a DIY’er it is easy to dismiss it with the thought that its just TFA strawberries and cream with a pretty label, and put it away for a while.
Yeah Im guilty, thats exactly what I did. (shame)
So I picked it up again with my next round of tastings and wow!
The strawberry has mellowed somewhat, it still has that real strawberry zing, but the other flavours are coming through now creating a strawberry cake with cream medly.
It is a very sweet vape, and has a slight tartiness to the fruit, but it also has that earthy sponge cake/cream to it adding dimension.
Side note: I love the cream base that vm uses in many of the flavours it gives a nice thick mouth feel leaving a really satisfying vape.

Nice and smooth. Thick mouth feel leaves you satisfied.
Steeping:
This one benefits from a bit of a steep, it allows the strawberry to meld better with the cake/creaminess.
Vapour:
I am thinking about removing this heading from my reviews as vapour production is all in the mix.
A 50/50 doubler from one vendor will produce the same vapour as 50/50 from another.
Either way, this vapes nicely, has nice dense vapour.
Presentation:
Clear bottle, black cap, dark label with some nice graphics. I like how the colour of the name “nightmare” is pink/red representing the flavour profile.
Very nice presentation.
Test rigs:
Derringer with dual 0.5ohm coils @ whatever watts my mech is pushing out at 3/4 battery life
(Yeah I know a pain of an RDA to use as a test rig… Wash, dry, pulse, re-wick, every damn flavour…)
