eJuice Review 22: Krakow Kustard by Vagabond Vapour
Here is another juice from one of my favourite local vendors, Vagabond Vapour. These guys are fast becoming my go to juice makers for when I am having a lazy week away from mixing.
Flavour Profile
From the website:
“You suddenly snap, it may be the cold weather, or seeing yet another tour bus pull up just outside of Wawel Castle – you dart around the corner and down some stairs into a tiny hidden cafe, time to indulge in something decadent.
Flavour profile: Warm creamy custard, light caramels poured over an apple pie and topped with a generous serving of vanilla ice cream.”
The Review:
Wow, what can I say about this one, I’m really loving it!
I love my custards, and trust the guys at Vagabond to mix it up a bit!
This IS NOT your standard Capellas Vanilla Custard.
Initially, I suspected that this custard, had some cinnamon in it.
It may well have some, however, I am now realising the flavour profile that I was missing was warm apple!
Krakow Kustard is a lovely thick creamy custard, with a full flavour, sweet aftertaste, and some really nice back notes that will intrigue you and keep you guessing.
Colour:
light tan to mid tan
Scent:
Vanilla, Warm Apple
Texture:
Thick and creamy, with a full mouth feel
Steeping:
This one benefits from a nice long steep, due to the custard tones, however it really is great even without waiting.
Vapour:
Decent vapour, due to 50/50 doubler mix. It all really depends on your final ratios.
Presentation:
Great presentation as always, light colour label on a brown glass dropper bottle.
Test rigs:
A6 RDA single coil 1.2ohm @15w
Geyscano with Zenith RDA 0.8ohm @ 25W
