eLiquid Review 263: SmurfNutz by Cloudz 4 Dayz

I found a cool little vape store a few weeks ago called Vapen, on North East Road Modbury.
It’s only small but friendly and they have a killer range of gear, plus tonnes of eliquids by many of Australia’s best juice makers.

They’ve got their own in house brand of ejuices called “Cloudz 4 Dayz” so I picked up a few of them to give them a crack!

Today I’ll be reviewing “Smurfnutz”!

This e-liquid was not supplied by the vendor, it is store bought.

Righto this one took awhile to crack! It takes 2 different blueberries mixed with some strawberry. Then you gotta add some pomegranate with a couple creamz to make the perfect smurf vanilla cupcake!

This flav isn’t over powering or too mellow! The perfect ADV!!

The Review:

Is it a gamble purchasing in house juices? Sometimes it can be, but not this time. Seeing the cool labelling and how much effort these guys have put into their product, I was quietly confident that they knew what they were doing.

Don’t be deterred by the name, “SmurfNutz” is a lovely light blueberry, a touch of strawberry and pomegranate with some cream to provide that nice vanilla undertone and full body.

Individual Notes

The blueberry here is great, it has a real depth of flavour that can only be achieved by using multiple variations of blueberry in the same mix. It’s classic low tones are complimented by a light sweetness and secondary blueberry midtones shining through.

The strawberry, I don’t see much of. I get that it’s a supporting flavour, and it does it’s job well elevating the low notes and adding some sharpness to the mix.

The pomegranate, what can I say? Boy, this really compliments the blueberries well. It really fits here, clinging to the strawberry on the upper end whilst breaking through the blueberry at the lower tones adding body and a little more complexity. The sweeter yet fullness of the flavour blend so well with everything else. You may not notice it straight away, but vape this for a few hours and you’ll begin to see what Im talking about.

The creams are more milky in nature, sweet cream is definately one of them. I can only guess that the other might be a marshmallow or a vanilla cream as it is quite subtle, slightly milky and has that vanilla feel to it. The creams thicken everything up and add even more body to an already decadent juice.

Inhale & Exhale

The inhale is all blueberries, light strawberry and cream. They’re all very light at this point, actually you’ll note that they are light all the way through, this is not an in your face flavour.
At the turn of the inhale, the beginning of the exhale sees the pomegranate pop itself through the rich dense blueberry mix complimenting it perfectly by introducing some mid range notes with a sharper sweetness to them.
Continuing on the exhale, the creams appear thickening everything up and adding even more texture and body to really round everything out.

Final thoughts

This is a light flavour, and it’s meant to be. Blueberry really is a nuance at best so it takes a lot of skill to combine other flavours with it without overpowering.

If you’re a dessert lover, don’t skip this one, it’s a grower not a shower, so it may take a few hours for you to find all of the notes, but boy is it worth it when you do!

Very nice presentation here. I received clear 30ml unicorn bottles with a striking black and pink label with needle tip and pink child-proof caps. The labels contain everything that you’d expect.

Test rigs:

Hadaly RDA with single SS coil @ 0.3 ohms on a bottom feed mod.
HAKU RDA with single SS316L coil @ 0.29ohms on a regulated mod running 50-80 watts.
