eLiquid Review 294: Milk’d by Priority Blends

Well folks, we’re up to review number 4 for the Priority Blends range of flavours, and today I’ve got something silky smooth, thick and milky for you.
A grade A Strawberry and Cream dessert.

Today I’ll be reviewing “Milk’d”!

This juice was supplied by the vendor.

Strawberries smothered in creams laid over a bed of cheese cake

The Review:

I haven’t had a strawberry and cream flavour for a while. Everything of late seems to have been fruits or thicker desserts, so this is a welcome change.

This is not your normal strawberries and cream either, “Milk’d” is a sweet realistic strawberry, with a silky smooth, light caramel cream mid range and a thick cheesecake finish.

Individual Notes

The strawberry is quite realistic, but a little candy at the same time. Sort of mixed between a realistic tart ripe strawberry and one of those strawberries and cream gummies.

Following up the strawberry are the creams. Early on they’re quite light and very much whipped cream in consistency. Along the way however, a little caramel is introduced, as well as what feels like vanilla custard. I’m also suspecting that there’s some marshmallow here, due to the sweetness and lightly sticky nature to the cream base.

Last but not least, the cheesecake is tangy with a very light biscuity base, that you might not even taste, but it is there. It is just not the dominant note. The tangy meringue provides the contrasting tartness as well as the silky smooth thick texture.

Inhale & Exhale

The inhale is all strawberry and light fluffy creams. The marshmallow is most noticeable here as well as the whipped cream. The strawberry and cream work well together with the strawberry pitching up as the taller note, while the creams bring up the baseline.

As the inhale turns to the exhale, the strawberry falls back a little making way for the richer caramel and custard notes. Now, these are totally not dominant notes, and definitely not strong at all. It is more like a few drops were added of each to richen things up and add a little dimension.
They act as a bit of a midway point for the strawberry to blend with and the cheesecake to follow.

As the cheesecake kicks in and adds a tang to everything, the other creams seem to take a step back allowing it to dominate the exhale, while they pick up as undertones instead, now supporting the new dominating flavour. The strawberry comes back at this point too, taking on more of a tangy tart feel that intertwines with the cheesecake. The cheesecake is less biscuit and more meringue for the most part, and drives this flavour home right through to the end of the exhale.

Final thoughts

This one is definately memorable,.a nice silky smooth dessert that is light enough to vape all day and complex enough to treat yourself to at the end of the day. A ripper dessert right here folks!
