eLiquid Review 295: Caked by Priority Blends

eLiquid Review 295: Caked by Priority Blends

Following on from the last review, a strawberry cream cheesecake, today I’ve got a similar mix for you, just with a different fruit! This one is a blueberry base.
Today I’ll be reviewing “Caked”!

This juice was supplied by the vendor.

From the website:

Mothers freshly baked cheese cake served with blueberries

The Review:

I love blueberry with its thick fruity low notes, it’s really underestimated and works well with so many other flavours whether used as a background not, a supporting note or dominating.

“Caked” is a nice tart cheesecake meringue with undertones of biscuit and a wash of blueberry throughout the entire vape.

Individual Notes

There are 3 main notes in this juice, the blueberry, cream, and the cheesecake.

The blueberry is very light and im not recognising the concentrate used, so I presume there is more than one making up the blueberry. It has the usual distinct blueberry nuance, quite rounded and earthy with a light tartness but mainly that unmistakeable blueberry base note.

The creams are also light. They’re not only light on flavour but texture too, they’re fluffy, airy yet thick and creamy. Very much like sweet cream and a touch of marshmallow added.

The cheesecake is, again, like the last review, light on the biscuit and heavier on the meringue. Which works well in this particular mix as it carries well with the cream and blends almost seamlessly.

Inhale & Exhale

There isn’t a lot on the inhale here, I detect just a little blueberry on the back of the tongue but that is about it. Perhaps a little cream, nothing more.

Onto the exhale, the flavour comes through more intensely, with both the blueberry cream and cheesecake more noticeable. The blueberry is still very light and while being the key note, becomes more of a background note throughout the vape.
The creams come next with their light and fluffy texture blending with the blueberry carrying it through to mix with the cheesecake.

The biscuit and meringue appear at the same time, with the meringue slowly overtaking the biscuit in intensity, to leave a meringue and cream with undertones of light soft crumbly biscuit and a wash of blueberry over the top.

Final thoughts

This is a great flavour for all of you dessert lovers, it ticks all of the boxes. Thick and creamy, a light biscuity base with a fruit thrown in for good measure.
Despite its great flavour, it’s quite a delicate mix and would have taken quite a bit of time to get right.

Its simply lovely. Great work guys.
