eJuice Review 239: White Sponge Cake by Silk Road Vapour
The first bunch of samples that I reviewed from Silk Road Vapour a while ago were great, I was very impressed with the flavour, quality, and nice consistency of flavour intensity from their line.

Today I’ll be reviewing “White Sponge Cake”!

Did someone say cake? This is a white vanilla cake soaked in coconut milk with a sweet vanilla icing. Topped with dried coconut flakes and dusted with icing sugar. This is one for the sweet tooth!
Steeping: The longer the better on this one. We recommend bare minimum a one week steep.
The Review:
Here we go folks, we’re onto the last of this round of Silk Road Vapour flavours and Ive left something a little special for the end.
“White Sponge Cake” is a fluffy vanilla sponge cake with a decadent sweet white icing and dried coconut flakes sprinkled over the lot creating a smooth full bodied dessert to die for!
If you’re a vanilla fan, and love thick, creamy vapes, you’re going to love this one. It totally lives up to all expectations. I envisioned a fluffy cake back note with a sugary sweet icing, almost marzipan, and that’s exactly what it is.
It’s an indulgent flavour, that is a little rich, yet well balanced with its bakery and coconut notes contrasting with the sugary icing.
On the inhale it’s all vanilla, with a touch of a gelatin or marzipan note perfectly mimicking a rich white icing.
The background fluffy cake note follows up on the exhale thickening everything up and adding some lovely bakery body.
All the while subtle coconut flakes shine through the mix tying it all together and finishing off the exhale with a sweet coconut finish.
If you’re a dessert lover, get stuck into this one, you won’t regret it!

Top notch presentation as always from Silk Road. This time around they’ve got some fancy new labels, embellished with some gold/copper striping on satin black background.
I received 30ml ready to vape clear unicorn bottles with child-proof caps all sealed up nicely.
Test rigs:
Hadaly RDA with single SS coil @ 0.3 ohms on a bottom feed mod.
Kennedy RDA with dual SS coil @ 0.4 ohms on a regulated mod running 50-80 watts.
