eJuice Review 197: Vapesters Special by Vapesters
Introduction:
Vapesters have been around for a little while, although relatively new, and I’ve been meaning to try their flavours for just as long.
Vapesters hail from Melbourne, and pride themselves on producing eliquids that are tasty, top quality and bursting with flavour!
Today I’ll be reviewing “Vapesters Special”.

The Review:
I remember a while back when I was first getting into DIY and mixing my own flavours, and trying to create an awesome orange cream. I could never get it right, either the orange would be so light that it was barely there, or I’d end up with a really soapy and boring flavour that just never satisfied. So I gave up on it.
This is what I was trying to create.
“Special” is a creamy blood orange with tid bits of complimentary flavours that come together to create a flavoursome, yet smooth mix that will satisfy your orange cravings as well as provide you with a full bodied flavour!
The blood orange is a great flavour to use over regular orange, it’s a little more tart and tends to be a stronger flavour overall. This one is sweet, tart and citrusy making this of course the dominant flavour.
I can’t say that I pick up on the berries that Vapesters mention in the description, although they do say there is only a hint in here. Perhaps they act as more of a supporting flavour, with their various nuances simply adding some complexity rather than showing through themselves.
The gelato, is awesome, to me it’s a vanilla bean ice cream with a little sweet cream or whipped cream added to it.
On the inhale, the blood orange is the dominant flavour, actually it’s the main flavour all the way through the vape. There is a touch of gelato on the inhale, but not the full hit, just a hint to give you an idea of what’s coming.
The exhale is where it’s at. The blood orange and it’s tartness and citrus, dull off a little as the cream kicks in to smooth things out. Don’t get me wrong, it’s still in there as the main note, but the intensifying gelato provides a thicker texture, really adding some sweetness and creaminess that really drives this flavour home.
The end of the exhale is a really smooth creamy orange with a little zing and full mouth texture, much like those ice cream spiders you’d have as a kid.
I’ve loved vaping this one the last couple of days. Not once have I needed to go looking for the orange like I’ve needed to do with many others. It’s been the perfect level of intensity the whole time. No flavour drop off, and a perfect all day vape.

Presentation:
Great presentation here. I received 30ml unicorn bottles with childproof caps. The labelling is really cool with each flavour having its own colour and logo image for easy identification. All of the necessary information is on the labels also.
Test rigs:
Psyclone Hadaly clone @ 0.3 ohms on a mech, running @ 50 watts.
Serpent mini @ 0.6ohm single Clapton coil running at 30-60watts.
