eJuice Review 87: Sweet Darkness by Freshness Vapes

freshness-vapes-logo-webFreshness Vapes until late, have only stocked other popular Australian juice lines. They’ve now released their own range of inhouse flavours, as well as offering a really cool “easy mix” option for those who add nicotine. Tell them what pg/vg mix you want as well as how strong nicotine you vape at and boom, the bottle arrives filled to the correct amount. All you’ve got to do is add your nic, and you’re good to go. No need to keep stock of PG or VG anymore!
The samples I received were all of this new “easy mix” option.

Today I’ll be reviewing “Sweet Darkness”.

You can pick up the Freshness Vapes inhouse range from their website @ http://www.freshnessvapes.com.au

From the website:

“The flavour profiles on this e-liquid are very rich, sweet, multi-layered and textured. It will leave you licking your lips trying to pin point all the flavours while using your teeth scraping your tongue for that laste bit of flavour. On the inhale it tastes very similar to the top layer dessert “Crème Brule” and on the exhale it will leave you smiling.
Inhale: Slightly Burnt Dark Vanillary Notes
Exhale: Slight Tartness, Sweetness and Custards”

The Review:

This is a deliciously rich dessert vape.

Think of your favourite vanilla custard, add some creme brulee, perhaps a little catalan cream, a little caramel base, an ever so slight amount of cinnamon and this is what you’ll end up with. Probably not as well mixed, but you’d have the basic concept.
Rich, creamy, a little complexity to keep you interested, you won’t want to put this one down.

The inhale and exhale descriptions are spot on with this, I feel like Freshness Vapes have already written the review for me!

On inhale I get thick creamy vanillas, with a touch of caramel to get the ball rolling on the sweetness.

Exhale begins with a brulee, that quickly spikes with a brief, barely noticeable tartness, before rolling off into a nice sweet smooth vanilla custard/Cinnamon finish.

Despite my obvious bias towards dessert flavours, I’m quite impressed with this juice. It has everything I look for, full flavour, creamy, sweet, with a bit of complexity to keep me guessing.

Top job on this one, I’m looking forward to seeing if the others can live up to the benchmark that Sweet Darkness has set!
