eJuice Review 104: Sweet Cuzzberry by Bottled Clouds

img_20161207_093507Bottled Clouds have been around for a few years, but until late, access to their juice range has really only been through facebook and private messaging.
This has all changed now as they have created an online store, and made it easy to get access to them.

Their original recipes haven’t gotten a lot of attention outside of their local market, so I’ll be reviewing a few of their juices and letting you all know how I go!

Today I’ll be reviewing “Sweet Cuzzberry”.

You can pick up The Bottled Clouds range from their website @ http://www.bottledclouds.com.au

From the website:

“Nice juicy summer Strawberries covered in a creamy vanilla custard..”

The Review:

I’ve tried a lot of strawberry custard flavours, and most are a variation of the same flavourings, with perhaps a little tweak here and there.
“Sweet Cuzzberry” is not one of those.

The strawberry in this is quite unique, an almost fresh, earthy flavour, similar to when you get a strawberry with a lot of seeds on the outside. The flesh note in it is not sour or tart, more of a sweetened strawberry, not unlike sugar coated strawberries.

The custard is also not your standard custard, it has a much lighter note than most, creamier and less rich and not as ‘in-your-face’ as other vanilla custards.

The inhale is really creamy, at the beginning nothing more is noticeable, however at the height of the inhale I get the fleshy strawberry coming through right before I complete my inhale, the flavour is like a rush of strawberry tartness, without the edge.

The exhale is where I get all of the flavour coming together. At the beginning of the exhale I’m getting a more noticeable vanilla custard appearing, on top of that comes the earthiness of the strawberry seeds combined with the strawberry flesh notes for a short period. The vanilla custard pops back in for the rest of the exhale as the strawberry fades leaving me with a really nice creaminess on the palate.

Quite a nice strawberry custard, thick, creamy, flavoursome and not overly rich, which helps to make this a flavour that you can vape all day without getting sick of it.

Great work Bottled Clouds.

Colour:

Light Honey tint

Scent:

Vanilla Custard/Strawberry

Coil damage:

No gunking coils.

PG/VG Ratio:

There is no information on PG/VG ratio on the bottles, however I received 30ml singlers, and going by the consistency and vapour, I am guessing that they are between the 50PG/50VG – 30PG/70VG.

Texture:

Thick creamy bakery

Steeping:

Steeping is definately recommended with this one due to the creams.
Mine has been steeping for approximately 34 days.

Basic labelling in black on white with juice name and “Bottled Clouds” logo. (no other information)
Bottled Clouds use standard plastic squeeze bottles with needle tips, and child proof caps for their 30ml bottles.

Serpent Mini RTA with 0.6 ohm single Clapton at 30 – 50watts
