eJuice Review 194: Strapple Sour by Vapesters

Introduction:

Vapesters have been around for a little while, although relatively new, and I’ve been meaning to try their flavours for just as long.

Vapesters hail from Melbourne, and pride themselves on producing eliquids that are tasty, top quality and bursting with flavour!

Today I’ll be reviewing “Strapple Sour”.

From the Website:

Sweet and sour strawberry combo, with a candy apple kicker. Brought together, they create a burst of sour candy goodness. This one was born from the Strapple Ripe, and with the addition of a sourness so good your mouth will water, it will have your taste buds begging for more.
Inhale: A punch of sour. A fly kick of sweet strawberry.
Exhale: A king hit of candy apple. This one is a fight where everybody wins!

The Review:

Apple and strawberry go so well together, they compliment each other nicely giving off both sweet and tart vibes.

“Strapple sour” is the combination of sweet, tart and sour all in the one flavour, making your tastebuds come alive and tantalising at every turn.

The apple is quite a fleshy apple, I don’t really pick up a skin nuance, but it’s sweet and tart and juicy just as an apple should be.

The strawberry is quite a sweet strawberry, more candied than the real fruit, which works well to counter the tartness of the apple.

Now the sourness that takes over in this is awesome. I know it can be difficult to emulate sourness with a lasting effect in eliquids and Vapesters have done a stellar job. The sour appears throughout the vape and doesn’t drop off as much as many do.

On the inhale I get mostly sweet strawberry with a hint of sourness, and a touch of apple that isn’t in my face but certainly gives me an idea of what to expect.

The exhale ramps up the flavour X10, with the apple tartness taking over from the sweet strawberry. Not unlike chewing the sweet toffee from a toffee apple and then taking a huge bite out of the juicy tart apple underneath.

Just when I begin to get used to the apple a wave of sourness washes over everything cleansing my palate of the other flavours and finishing of with the sourness slowly subsiding through to the end of the exhale.

What a ride. This flavour is a battle of the senses and a lovely clean all day vape!
