eJuice Review 256: Splice by Mr Wicky

Mr Wicky is a relatively new brand. It’s seems that they only have 1 flavour at the moment. I have read that Mr Wicky is a new juice line that is a collaboration between Cloud Revolution and Van Vape.

Today I’ll be reviewing “Splice”!

I did not receive this eliquid from the vendor. It is store bought.

Description:

A sweet and zesty pineapple lime popsicle with subtle undertones of vanilla ice-cream and a cool finish.

The Review:

I’ve seen this brand popping up here and there, on forums and social media and love the idea of a vape that is just like one of my favourite ice creams from my childhood.

This is a delicious juice, a great match for the original flavour and really does remind me if the old corner shop favourite. Having said that, I am a little conflicted with it. Read on to find out why.

“Splice” is a tasty mix of pineapple and lime, with a creamy undertone, and an icy finish.

I was actually a little shocked at how zesty and tasty this juice really is. Ive been vaping it for the last 3 days and the flavour is still as intense as the first day.

The inhale is all zesty lime and tart slightly sour pineapple. A lovely combo and really gets the tastebuds standing to attention.

The exhale sees the underlying vanilla work its way through the pineapple and lime at the same time as some sugary sweetness, smoothing the vape out a little and adding a fluffy, creamy texture.

The cream feels like a vanilla bean ice-cream, not a sweet cream, as I’m not picking up any of the typical butyrate note.

As the exhale continues, the vanilla builds up and is joined by a cool menthol, that finishes off the vape with an icy chill just like eating the ice cream.

So now Ive pumped this flavour up, let’s discuss the one huge negative it has.

There is a tonne of sweetener here. It WILL gunk your coils big time. I’m noticing my wicks degrading by about halfway through the day, and my coils gunked by the end of it.

This is still a killer juice in spite of it being a coil and wick killer, so if you rebuild or rewick often and you don’t mind the sweetener, definately give it a try, it is really tasty.

Where to Buy:

Mr Wicky don’t have a dedicated website yet, but you can purchase their Splice flavour from the cloud revolution website (https://cloud-revolution.com/) or from the various stockists around Australia.
