eJuice Review 120: Silky Milky Road by Silk Road Vapour

IMG_20161212_145047-01Dessert lovers, you’re in for a treat. This week I’ll be reviewing the Silk Road Vapour range of flavours, and many of them are bakeries and desserts!

Silk Road Vapour launched late in 2016, located in the outer suburbs of Sydney. They are mainly in the ejuice business, but do sell some other accessories on their site, like wick, wire, empty bottles and PG/VG.

Let’s get into them!

Today I’ll be reviewing “Silky Milky Road”.

You can pick up the Silk Road Vapour range from the their website @ http://www.silkroadvapour.com.au

From the website:

A fresh strawberry milkshake topped with a healthy scoop of Neapolitan ice cream then drizzled with sweet strawberry syrup. This isn’t your average corner store milkshake!

The Review:

An interesting take on a strawberry milkshake, this flavour oozes strawberry with full bodied creams to back it up.

The strawberry is quite a natural fresh strawberry with earthy tones and a slightly seedy tartness, no candy here!

The creams are really smooth, with a nice thick mouth feel, and a vanilla that instantly screams icecream.

I have e to say that I really don’t get a neopolitan ice cream here, there is a slightly rich note here, but itdoesnt seem like a chocolate, so perhaps neopolitan is a typo in the description or there is just a touch of it to give some complexity.

Inhale is all strawberry goodness, as mentioned before it’s sweet, earthy and tart, but just the right amount of each. A little bit of cream comes through but it more carries the strawberry through than stands out as its own flavour.

On exhale the creams and vanilla ice cream really thicken things up and bring forward a lovely vanilla note that is reminiscent of a dollop of icecream over strawberries in a bowl. It’s sweet and thick, leaving you with an ice cream aftertaste, a texture and creaminess of spooning up the left over icecream at the bottom of the bowl!

This is one of my favourites so far, complex enough to keep you wanting more, but light enough as an all day vape!
