eJuice Review 82: Silk Milk by South Coast Vapes

sillk-milkHere we have my second review of the South Coast Vapes range, I’m digging their flavours so far!

Today I’ll be reviewing “Silk Milk”.

You can pick up the South Coast Vapes range from their website @ http://www.southcoastvapes.com.au

From the website:

“Never a fan of the plethora of strawberry milks we hit this one with something a little different, smooth and cruisey , goes great with eating some chocolate if you dare.”

The Review:

In the description South Coast Vapes say, “we hit this with something a little different”, and I believe them, its definately different than your usual strawberry milk.

Typically a strawberry milk consists of strawberry and various creams, in an effort to mimic the sugary strawberry milk you’d find next to the Iced coffees in the fridge of your local store, but this one is a little darker. It has a more custard tone to it with the strawberry as more of a backnote, not front and centre.

I get a bit of a custard or even a “dulce de leche” feel from the richness that comes through, its quite a powerhouse of flavour but not overbearing so.

On inhale I get a really nice mix of both ripe strawberries and various light creams, at this stage you don’t quite know what to expect. Then at the turn of the inhale I get a lovely richness coming through taking over, almost hiding the strawberry. The richness is very “custardy”.
Is it custard? Is it dulce de leche? Or is it a malted milk? I really cannot tell, I have a feeling it may be a mixture. It’s not overpowering, it really is just a small nuance adding to the cream, just a nice smooth transition. No wonder they call this “Silk Milk”.

Exhale is more of the same creamy with custard notes, the strawberry then makes another appearance popping out from behind the creams, ending with a nice even and rich blend of Ripe strawberries and thick creamy custard.

As a dessert vaper, I’m really enjoying this one, whilst I wouldnt class it as a strawberry milk per se, its definately a nice variation that is worth coming back for more!

Nice full bodied texture

Silk Milk will definately benefit from a steep due to the creams.
