eJuice Review 109: Peach Ice Tea by Bottled Clouds

img_20161207_093507Bottled Clouds have been around for a few years, but until late, access to their juice range has really only been through facebook and private messaging.
This has all changed now as they have created an online store, and made it easy to get access to them.

Their original recipes haven’t gotten a lot of attention outside of their local market, so I’ll be reviewing a few of their juices and letting you all know how I go!

Today I’ll be reviewing “Peach Ice Tea”.

You can pick up The Bottled Clouds range from their website @ http://www.bottledclouds.com.au

From the website:

“Handpicked juicy Peaches with golden Honey and Iced Tea.”

The Review:

If you’ve ever downed a Lipton’s Peach Iced Tea, straight out of the bottle, on a hot summer day, then you already know what this tastes like.

It’s pretty much spot on the money, with the only exception being that Bottled Clouds have added a touch of honey to it to sweeten it up a little.

The lack of sweetness in the drink is something that has always annoyed me, so I guess you could say that this is an improvement on the original!

The peach is a lovely sweet fleshy peach. It’s quite juicy and full of flavour.

The tea is minimal, which provides some depth and complexity, as many backnotes do. It is not overbearing at all, in my opinion it is the perfect amount.

The honey smoothes things over, and keeps the tea from showing too much bitterness.

Inhale seems to be mostly a sugary tea flavour with a touch of peach rushing past the tongue.

Exhale sees the peach really shine with the sweet honey well mixed giving a syrup like texture, I know it’s a little left field, but it gives me a slight licorice or aniseed nuance right in the middle of the exhale which is really interesting. You will probably have a different experience but it’s what comes through for me. It’s by no means a dominant flavour, actually barely noticeable.

The end of the exhale has the peach, honey and tea come together for a really nice and refreshing vape.

I’m quite impressed with this one as I don’t usually get into tea flavours, but this has really surprised me!

Great job guys!

Light honey colour

Scent:

Peaches and tea

Coil damage:

Little to no coil damage

PG/VG Ratio:

There is no information on PG/VG ratio on the bottles, however I received 30ml singlers, and going by the consistency and vapour, I am guessing that they are between the 50PG/50VG – 30PG/70VG.

Texture:

Full bodied but refreshing

Steeping:

Steeping is recommended due to the tea.
Mine has been steeping for approximately 35 days.

Bottled Clouds use standard plastic squeeze bottles with needle tips, and child proof caps for their 30ml bottles.

Kennedy 22 RDA with 0.3 ohm dual SS coils at 60 – 80 watts
