eJuice Review 223: Nanz Apple Pie by V-Juice (VAPR Australia)

Ive heard a lot of good things about VAPR, mainly on social media, but where else do you go for information these days!

They are a husband and wife team that run a vape store located indoors at the Laverton Market Place, located at 8/18 Leakes Road, Laverton, Melbourne.

They stock a great range of hardware as well as re-building supplies in store and on their website.

Their juice range is also quite good, offering several other popular brands of eliquid as well as their new brand V-Juice. They’re promising, no added sweeteners, or other nasties and say this on their website…”this line has been painstakingly created to provide true complex flavour profiles to please the fussiest palates”.

I don’t know about you folks but they’ve got my attention, let’s take a look at their new juice line, “V-Juice”.

Today I’ll be reviewing “Nanz Apple Pie”!

A traditional, warming homemade apple pie with a buttery pastry, sweet baked apples and a generous scoop of vanilla bean ice cream.

The Review:

Here is another of V-Juices flavours that is very light. In my normal setup I don’t get a lot of flavour with it, however on a higher wattage and warmer setup, the flavour is still on the light side, but sufficient.

“Nanz Apple Pie” is a tasty tart warm apple, combined with a light pastry, and creamy vanilla ice cream topping it off.

The apple is more of a stewed apple which fits the profile nicely, and really suits a nice warm vape. It loses a little of its tartness, being more of a mellow and sweet stewed apple.

The pastry I find is just like the pastry you’d get from a pie wall, rather than the flaky top. It’s slightly doughy with a nice sweetness to it.

The ice cream is a really nice sweet and thick vanilla, that helps to meld the other flavours and provide a lovely thick mouth feel.

The inhale is very light, mostly comprising of the warm sweet Apple and a slight pastry note following up.

On the exhale we have the intensity increase, and the apple maturing hitting it’s highest flavour point. Alongside the apple, the pastry also crescendos into a lightly baked sweet dough.
The supporting ice cream brings with it a little vanilla and a sweet finish that completes the profile, leaving the end of the exhale with a thick sweet and creamy texture.

This is quite a nice flavour, although I find it a little on the light side, I’d like to see the flavour percentage bumped up a little. Having said that, due to its non overbearing nature, this makes a fantastic all day vape. You’ll enjoy the delicate notes, while hunting for each flavour, something you’ll not get tired of easily!

Steeping is a good idea to help all of the notes smooth out and blend nicely.

Presentation:

Some really nice presentation here, I received 30ml unicorn bottles, ready to vape.

The bottles feel great quality, smooth to squeeze with no nozzles popping off. The bottles are clear with squirt tips and child proof caps.

One thing I’m loving about these is the inserts inside the caps are all different colours. It’s a small thing but a very nice touch.

The labels are a nice satin black with their neon style V-Juice logo, a short one liner about ingredients, their website and checkboxes along the bottom for different bottle sizes.

Test rigs:

O-Atty RDA with single SS coil @ 0.2 ohms on a bottom feed mechanical mod.
