eJuice Review 203: Mintsweeper by Vapesters
Introduction:
Vapesters have been around for a little while, although relatively new, and I’ve been meaning to try their flavours for just as long.
Vapesters hail from Melbourne, and pride themselves on producing eliquids that are tasty, top quality and bursting with flavour!
Today I’ll be reviewing “Mintsweeper”.

The Review:
Chocolate is a little difficult to get right, many will gunk your coils and just aren’t really strong enough. Vapesters have worked their magic on an old classic, and guess what? No gunking?! And tonnes of flavour!
“Mintsweeper” is a smooth milk chocolate, with vanilla ice cream undertones and a minty finish that will freshen you up!”
Let’s get down to the nuts and bolts. Chocolate vapes can quite often not hit the mark in that you get a really strong cocoa hit, which just isn’t a milk chocolate. It is also a very limiting flavour, too much and it tastes like burnt cocoa, too little and it’s like a very weak hot chocolate that has gone cold and watery.
Im not sure which chocolate base Vapesters have used here, but their ratios are perfect. I get a real chocolate sort of in between dark chocolate and milk chocolate, without an overly noticeable cocoa note.
The genius in this flavour in my opinion is the vanilla ice cream. It comes in thick and creamy, and adds just that right amount of milky goodness to further enhance the chocolate creating an authentically smooth milk chocolate flavour.
On the inhale it’s mainly the chocolate shining through for me with a touch of that vanilla icecream keeping the cocoa at bay.
The exhale sees the chocolate get a little stronger, and the icecream even more, making this even more creamier and more like a real milk chocolate.
About halfway through, the mint appears and adds a little coolness to the mix, it’s not quite a spearmint and not quite a menthol. It gives me more of an impression of cold icecream. It really finishes the vape nicely and adds an interesting twist.
If you love chocolate, chocolate milk, chocolate ice cream or just anything chocolate and dessert, then this is for you. It’s a nice smooth chocolate mix without any of the fancy gimmicks and rough edges, it really is an unassuming thick and smooth vape done right.

Presentation:
Great presentation here. I received 30ml unicorn bottles with childproof caps. The labelling is really cool with each flavour having its own colour and logo image for easy identification. All of the necessary information is on the labels also.
Test rigs:
Psyclone Hadaly clone @ 0.3 ohms on a mech, running @ 50 watts.
Serpent mini @ 0.6ohm single Clapton coil running at 30-60watts.
