eJuice Review 146: Matriarch by Aurus Premium

“An authentic, creamy milk and strawberry flavour that’ll leave you wanting more”.
The Review:
I was instantly impressed by the presentation of this juice line. On opening the box, I was presented with a very awesome chubby unicorn bottle, clear bottle with clear child proof cap, and with really professional labelling. It certainly looks premium and I’ve been itching to get stuck into this juice ever since it arrived.
Did it live up to its presentation? Absolutely!
Aurus premium couldn’t have picked a better flavour profile to start with, strawberry creams and custards are my favourites, and the new kid on the block didn’t disappoint!
This is a smooth, but thick dessert vape, with realistic strawberries, thick creams and a little custard to keep every dessert vaper on their toes.
The strawberry is more of a back note, but rest assured it is there in abundance, it is an earthy, and tart, realistic strawberry complete with seed nuances, and fleshy flavour.
The creams are sweet, and creamy, and I pick up a little touch of custard which adds some depth and complexity.
The inhale is a lot of cream, and a little strawberry passing past the tongue, giving you a hint of what’s to come.
The exhale ramps things up a lot. The strawberry gets a lot stronger, it is still relative to the creams and custard though, and remains as a background note. The creams really thicken up, they are sweet and smooth.
About halfway through the exhale, the hint of custard appears, adding even more creaminess, and a nice touch on an already awesome flavour.
This is Aurus Premium’s first release folks, if the first one is anything to go by, I’m really excited to see what they come up with next. This is looking to be a very promising eliquid line!

Presentation:
This juice came in a 60ml Chubby unicorn bottle, the bottle is clear as well as it’s child-proof lid. The labels look really professional, and the whole package, definately gives off the premium feel.
Test rigs:
Odis O-Atty with single ss contact coil @ 0.2ohms on a coppervape mod and/or Frankenskull clone.
Serpent Mini RTA with 0.6 ohm single Clapton at 30 – 50watts
