eJuice Review 211: Lymed Cheesecake by V-Juice (VAPR Australia)

Ive heard a lot of good things about VAPR, mainly on social media, but where else do you go for information these days!

They are a husband and wife team that run a vape store located indoors at the Laverton Market Place, located at 8/18 Leakes Road, Laverton, Melbourne.

They stock a great range of hardware as well as re-building supplies in store and on their website.

Their juice range is also quite good, offering several other popular brands of eliquid as well as their new brand V-Juice. They’re promising, no added sweeteners, or other nasties and say this on their website…”this line has been painstakingly created to provide true complex flavour profiles to please the fussiest palates”.

I don’t know about you folks but they’ve got my attention, let’s take a look at their new juice line, “V-Juice”.

Today I’ll be reviewing “Lymed Cheesecake”!

From the website:

A vibrant dessert merging fresh tart lime with a creamy cheesecake and biscuit base, served with a generous dollop of premium vanilla bean ice cream.

The Review:

Heres another fruity cream mix. This one is similar to yesterday’s pineapple ice cream mix with one exception. Cheesecake!

“Lymed Cheesecake” is a bright lime infused vanilla ice cream sitting atop a sweet and realistic cheesecake base.

I’m finding that the lime in this flavour is quite bright and not so bitter as many lime flavours can be. It’s a little sweeter with a really clean taste.

The icecream blends with the lime so well here, that both flavours are more or less one. Rather than it being icecream with lashings of lime, I feel that it is more of a lime ice cream! Or even a lime spider!

The cheesecake is a really good replica and carries most of the primary cheesecake nuances. It’s biscuity as well as having a light creamy sourness that gives this a real cheesecake punch.

On the inhale, I mostly get a touch of lime and a little vanilla ice cream, it’s fairly muted at this stage, but a great start and a good indicator for the flavour to come.

The exhale sees the flavours come alive, the lime really brightens up and picks up a little sharpness. The ice cream does a great job of keeping this in check so that it doesn’t overpower.

When the cheesecake makes an appearance, everything kinds of flips around with the lime dulling back down again, the ice cream taking up a little more dominance and the lovely cheesecake introducing some body with it’s biscuity goodness and it’s light sourness adding some complexity to the ice cream.

This is a great flavour with a really nice twist at the end, full of flavour and body making it a clean yet creamy all day vape!

Colour:

Very light Honey tint

Scent:

Lime/Citrus

Coil damage:

No noticeable damage

PG/VG Ratio:

30PG/70VG

Texture:

Sweet fruits with full body texture

Steeping:

Steeping is a good idea with this one!

Presentation:

Some really nice presentation here, I received 30ml unicorn bottles, ready to vape.

The bottles feel great quality, smooth to squeeze with no nozzles popping off. The bottles are clear with squirt tips and child proof caps.

One thing I’m loving about these is the inserts inside the caps are all different colours. It’s a small thing but a very nice touch.

The labels are a nice satin black with their neon style V-Juice logo, a short one liner about ingredients, their website and checkboxes along the bottom for different bottle sizes.

Test rigs:

O-Atty RDA with single SS coil @ 0.2 ohms on a bottom feed mechanical mod.
