eJuice Review 276: LMC by Juiced Vapour

I’ve reviewed a few of “Juiced Vapour’s” flavours before and found them to be quite a high quality juiceline with flavours to suit every vaper.

Well this week Ive got a bunch more to review since their last big release. Seven in fact! Let’s get started!

Today I’ll be reviewing “LMC”!

This juice was supplied by the vendor.

From the website:

Delicious mix of Lemon Meringue and Cheesecake. This is one you really have to try….If we do say so ourselves, and we do!

The Review:

There are a tonne of Lemon Meringue juices around these days. Many are simple mixes, a bit of lemon, a bit of Graham cracker, very much simple one dimensional mixes. I think this one is just a little bit more than that.

“LMC”, which equates to “Lemon Meringue Cheesecake” is a sweet and zesty Lemon Meringue with a warmth of complexity, a lovely creamy consistency, and biscuity cheesecake that will satisfy even the most hardened of dessert vaper’s.

Individual Notes

There’s a few different notes that I pick up in here that make up this mix. They’re not all immediately apparent, but you get hints every now and then, which makes me suspect that this is a little more complex than it seems to be.

Lets get to the obvious notes first.

There is a definite lemon here, although it is quite dialled back than the usual lemon meringues.
Rather than the lemon standing on its own, this feels more like a lemon cream or lemon flavoured meringue rather than actual lemon bits biting back at you.

The meringue is really well done. Not overbearing, but subtle and very marshmallow like. This is more of a gooey meringue, not the sugary crunchy outside of a meringue but the warm marshmallow inside.

The cheesecake is not your usual cheesecake either. The sour or tangy notes are also dialed back, not dominating at all and the biscuit base is doughy. Not the Graham cracker base you’d expect. I do detect a little Graham cracker but this base is a lot like a doughnut. Fluffy, sweet, full bodied and textured.

Now there is a richness to this that I can’t really put my finger on. It’s not as thick as a caramel, but could well be. I feel like I’m picking up very very light realistic banana nuances also. That’s not to say that there is banana in it, it could well be a note from something else that resembles banana, much like acai berry can taste very apple-ish.

It could well be minute amounts of various supporting flavours that create this richness, either way, these notes are lovely and compliment the mix really well.

Inhale & Exhale

The inhale is all lemon and cheesecake, with the cheesecake creating the base, not so biscuity at this point but creamy, and the lemon bringing the high note with its crisp and clean citrus.

At the turn of the inhale and onto the exhale the biscuit, or doughy base becomes stronger, blending with the marshmallowy cream and kicking the full bodied texture into gear.

Throughout the exhale all flavours combine into one lovely rich mix with highlights of lemon and light but base nuances of richer complimentary notes. Very similar to a caramel or custard, or even both. This is the complexity of richer flavours that I mentioned earlier.

Final thoughts

This is definately a complex juice that a tonne of time has gone into, refining the finer notes to provide a very layered finish. I feel like I have not done this one much justice as I haven’t been able to pick out all of the subtleties, but then again, perhaps that’s the whole idea. You’re not supposed to know every little nuance, but appreciate the complete flavour that they all contribute to.

This flavour also seems to sing at higher wattages, so crank that mod up a notch and enjoy the depth that this flavour offers!

Nice work guys.
