eJuice Review 84: Grape Detonation by South Coast Vapes

grape-detonationHere we have my fourth review of the South Coast Vapes range. Some sweet grapey goodness here!

Today I’ll be reviewing “Grape Detonation”.

You can pick up the South Coast Vapes range from their website @ http://www.southcoastvapes.com.au

From the website:

“All you purple grape fanatics have tried other grape juices, we have all looked for that one familiar childhood favourite flavour but they have all fallen short.
This grape is different to the others, this grape will blow you away!”

The Review:

Just like South Coast Vapes, up until now, I have not found a satisfactory bubblegum grape. Some have come close, but they have either been too heavy on the grape, and had a soapiness to them, or they have been way too weak, that you’re really looking for the flavour.
Grape Detonation ticks all of the boxes! And I’ve finally found one that I enjoy.
It really is a kickass Grape Hubba Bubba bubblegum replica, its sugary, its grapey, you can almost feel the soft bubblegum, because the flavour just fills the mouth, and leaves a pretty awesome aftertaste!
Inhale and exhale are much the same with this flavour, with the exception that you tend to notice the sugary sweetness a lot more on the exhale, so much so that you’re left with a sweetness on your lips.
My only reservation with Grape Detonation is that it may have artificial sweetener in it, the sugar sweet flavour, particularly the sugar left on your lips is a dead giveaway.
Which type of sweetener and whether it gunks coils or not, I don’t yet know.
Typically sweeteners will gunk my coils and I find the flavour drops off a lot when this happens. I get a kind of burnt sugar flavour coming through eventually IF it has sweetener.
So far I’ve had no gunking coils, and no drop off of flavour or burnt sugar what-so-ever, so I’m really confused as to how South Coast Vapes managed to make this such a sweet sugary flavour.
Great job guys, this one is lovely.
